Great Care Management Software
The system is constantly improving. It is Australian, so they are very proactive when it comes to the changes in aged care.
- Very easy to use and the team are responsive to all questions
- It is all very functional, so I have no complaints

Procura was being made redundant. This was the best option and much better than Procura

It has promise, but is not NDIS ready.
The Lookout Way has potential. If I were providing aged care brokerage services, it would be great. Sadly it isn't suited for NDIS providers without serious hacks and compromises.
- Great ticketing features and transparency between clients and workers
- There are a lot of customisation options along with an APIAllows for self-booking
- It is designed mostly for managing contractors
- The API is missing core features relating to invoicingInvoicing is difficult to navigate
- Cancellations are not listed on proda export and are structured poorly as options
- Care plans are essentially word templates rather than forms and cannot be created or updated in the field
- There are a lot of hidden addon costsWorkers cannot fill out forms
- There is no document tab
- Documents can only be stored in client notes
- Service agreements and quotes can not be managed within the platform

Amazing company
It was really great for the most part I just didn’t like the cost after my trial it was a bit much for me
The ease of use is amazing and rherebilling and scheduling is set up nicely we really was impressed with there support as well
The cost we felt it was a bit steep for us and what it provided for us so we did wind up leaving this one

Home Care Manager review of Lookout
Our experience has been positive. We have received positive feedback from staff and consumer users. User friendly, clear, good support.

Happy with the change
Overall I like it. There are some areas that still need to be looked at but overall it has been a positive change.
- I like the uninvestigated observations section
- It alerts the care advisors to any changes in clients condition- health, social etc straight away
- Carers like that CA can reply back to them
- Unable to find documents
- Once in notebook they are lost
- Need to be able to find these more easily
- Clients and families still not able to see carer notes

Intuitive accounting with logical UI
As a tech savvy person (at least I like to think) it is really nice to see efficiency improvements, no more waiting for endless data to load slowly. Very much appreciate the seemingly continual logical improvements for how systems work, from new shortcuts being added to entire new optimized reports or functions for a regularly used function.
I love that Lookout is very forward thinking in terms of technology and continual quality of life improvements because their fundamental ideas for how Home Care should work is refreshing to see
- The initial setup and implementation phase had all hands on deck and there is still support but with lengthier implementation times
- It was in part already known and I don't have know how on the agreements we have with lookout but it is improved over previous software

The software was running into limitations with what it could provide and felt old. Loading screens continuously and lack of efficient navigation.

Clear leader in the field - and it isn't even close
Fun, enjoyable, satisfying. Professional ... what else is there ?
- Technical capabilities - API is extensive
- Pre-sales support is astounding
UI could do with a bit more polish and understates how great the actual product is

Lookout review.
Overall I think lookout is a system that all providers should use as like I said, it captures everything thats needed, its very clear on where to find different tabs, the fact thats its linked to so many different things still blows my mind. The lookout team have just made this an amazing program to use and I very much am happy to be using this.
After using multiple platforms and systems I find that Lookout is very clear, very easy to use and with how streamlined it is I find that it still captures everything needed
- Not so much what I like least but it would be beneficial to have the client contribution on the dashboard under the funding section with the subsidy and ITF
- Currently if a member does make a VC the only way to find is to search through all tickets which can be hard to find at times

Efficient and easy
My experience has always been great, I really appreciate it and it's efficiency.
- I enjoy the simplicity of it, it is very easy to navigate
- I don't enjoy how there is no backup if you accidentally refresh the page and lose all your notes
- I also wish that there was a quicker ability to hyperlink other than having to scroll and hit the button every time
