About Loyverse POS

Loyverse POS is a cloud-based, mobile point-of-sale solution aimed at small retail, restaurant and salon establishments. With this software, users can manage inventory, visualize sales analytics and manage customer relationships. Loyverse POS allows users to sell products directly from iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. Discounts can be applied and orders can be modified directly from the platform. Customers can choose to receive printed receipts or electronic receipts, and users can issue refunds whenever necessary. Receipt printers, barcode scanners and cash drawers are all supported by Loyverse POS. Users can make sales in offline mode because the system will store and then sync all data upon returning to an internet connection. Loyverse POS also offers an employee management module, a sales analytics module and a customer communication module. The advanced inventory add-on module enables users to create purchase orders, view inventory valuation reports and manage stock.

Loyverse POS experience

Its been a very good point of sale system as it have reduced the manual input of entries. This has helped us speed up the line in terms of serving customers and eased the workload on stationary and paper

What they liked
  • The software is found on playstore and is able to function on phones and tablets
  • We have found it easy to work even without internet as we can sync the days transactions when we access internet
  • Records are kept safe and accurate
Room for improvement

It doesn't have certain administrative features that would make it an all round software for an organization so you would have to integrate with other applications

  • It makes handling the stores' inventory clearer and easier

  • You cannot track the items in Modifiers and Variants
  • its very challenging to us whos product is Fried Chicken Value Meal with a choice of free drinks of Iced Tea , pineapple or bottled water

Great for a FREE Service!

Overall I think this is a great service, especially since it's free! To have this many options available for a free service blows me away. I hope the can optimize the Loyalty system to be something other than making the customer download the app. It just didn't make sense for customers to download this app for only my shop as nobody else around her uses this system.

What they liked

Service is FREE, Customer Service is always quick to reply and able to answer all my questions, easy to update stock system, clean and neat UI, learning curve not too high

Room for improvement
  • The only cons are for things that would usually have to be paid for
  • No currency converter, no option for multiple currencies, difficult to implement the Loyalty part for customers,

Amazing FREE POS system for small businesses

It's a great software especially for small businesses because FREE actually means FREE. There are paid add-ons that I don't need to use but even those seem reasonably priced if you really need them for your business.

  • Amazing FREE pos, I use it for my printshop with 2 locations and works great
  • Easy to track sales for the whole org, or per store
  • Easy to add items and set up

  • There is no way to set cost % for an item, only cost by $
  • So items that are variable pricing appear at $0 cost

my review

i am using the system in my small shop and the fact that it's online has given me a lot of peace knowing that my sales will reflect and cannot get lost along the way. Secondly the reporting in the system has made my reconciliation process very easy. Third I am able to track the product levels and the notifications of low stock has made it very easy for me. Also allowing multiple employees has made my work easy because I can track the sales of each employee

the fact that the product is easy to use, Can allow the creation of as many products as possible and allows one to have multiple branches of the same store

  • the fact that inventory management and employee management are paid for separately
  • Could they have a package for the two bundled together and have a price for small businesses

Create your point of sale easily

It is a tool with which you can create and manage your POS easily and quickly, it is not necessary to start designing the software from scratch, you simply need to start adding products, with their respective price and inventory, to start selling, has different functions which facilitate the administration of the point of sale, manages real-time record of what is sold and daily, weekly and monthly statistics of sales. It is so easy to use that it can be used on a mobile device or tablet which can be integrated to a cash register to easily create your point of sale.

  • What I like most about the software is that I can manage my products and catalog them easily, also the interface to make the sale is very friendly and attractive, allows you to add images and colors depending on the product category, which is very useful when making sales
  • Another very useful function is to be able to manage the point of sale remotely, and to be able to see in real time from another device the sale of products

It could have more specialized functions for restaurants, is that although it is possible to work in a restaurant with the software, the software is more specialized in point of sale of a traditional store what other type of business modality, such as restaurants, could implement different business modalities to have a greater reach

Good Entry Level Product

Great product to start. I believe the club has now switched to a different system with a few more features and flexibility around hardware.

Accounting integration was not ideal and IOS limitations for hardware added some cost and headaches
