Efficient and versatile email marketing solution
I've been using Mailchimp for several months and it has streamlined my email marketing efforts. The templates look professional and the automation features save a lot of time. Reporting is also insightful and easy to understand.
- Mailchimp offers a clean, intuitive user interface with plenty of powerful features
- It makes designing emails and automations quick and easy, has robust analytics and segmentation tools, and integrates smoothly with other platforms
While Mailchimp is excellent overall, the pricing can become expensive as subscriber lists grow, and mastering some of the more advanced automation features takes time
Switched From
I wanted a more robust and user-friendly email marketing platform with better automation features.

Scalable Pricing
Overall very positive. We have a large 30k email list and we are able to effortlessly send to this large audience.
- The scalability of the program
- It's great for start-ups right though to enterprise level features
- With pay as you go pricing, it's a perfect fit
- Some things are clunky to use in the interface
- Could have better layout buiding tools and options
- Better tools to create embedded forms would also be welcomed
- They have started to integrate Shopify better too, but compared to Klaviyo, it could be better

SendInBlue was not working well for our needs at the time.
Why they chose it

Incredible Internal Comms Email Platform
It's great and I use it for my social media marketing. I would recommend it to others at a small or mid-size company looking to boost their internal comms capabilities.
- I like how intuitive the platform is and it's very user friendly
- It makes sending internal emails so easy and the analytics is excellent
- Mailchimp should have more customization features to ensure that the design matches with brand guidelines
- Right now, it feels a bit "homegrown" in terms of design elements

Easy to Use Newsletter Software
Overall I think it’s great. It would be nice if there were more graphic customizations but I think it’s simple enough to use.
- It’s very easy to use if you’re new to Newsletter Publishing
- The cost is fairly low to start off with
- Once you get to a certain number of contacts and email sends you have to pay more
- That makes sense though
Why they chose it
"We had already been using a free trial subscription so it was easier to stick with Mailchimp."

A dependable, user-friendly email platform that delivers
I’ve used Mailchimp for years and it’s consistently been a solid, dependable platform. It’s user-friendly, stable, and perfect for organizations managing fairly simple lists or campaigns. While it doesn’t have all the advanced integrations I’d like, it continues to be a go-to solution for clean, effective email communication.
- Mailchimp is simple, reliable, and easy to use
- It makes managing contact lists, designing emails, and tracking performance really straightforward
- It’s a great tool for small teams or individuals who want to create professional emails without needing a lot of technical setup
- I wish there were more options for implementing custom HTML designs directly
- The integrations could also be stronger, especially with donor management platforms like DonorPerfect

I switched years ago when Constant Contact was way behind in usability and design capabilities.

Great, But There Are Less Expensive Alternatives
Using Mailchimp is an easy experience, even for someone without any real design training. It's pretty much just drag and drop and fill out your own copy.
- It is really easy to get started setting up email campaigns and importing contacts
- The analytics are really great too
- The cost
- It is extremely expensive if you have a large list of subscribers
- That is a really important thing to consider, especially if you are just running small campaigns

Mailchimp came highly recommended by another colleague.

Great emailing platform
I have been using it for over 10 years and they are by far my favorite email platform. I've used it for work but I even have my person account that I use for Christmas cards and other such occasions.
- I like how it is so easy to use
- The templates are great and I love that you can just drag and drop blocks
- It is much more intuitive than other email platforms I have used
I find it to be a bit expensive and the free account are great but you can't delete their marketing portion at the bottom of the email
Why they chose it
"The interface is better, it's easier to use. I've actually had to use both at different companies and mailchimp is much more intuitive."

Great For Patient Engagement In Dental Practices
Overall— MailChimp is a fantastic accessible tool for dental practices looking to improve patient communication and marketing efficiency. Its automation and easy design capabilities make it ideal for maintaining patient relationships and promoting key services.
From a marketing perspective within the dental field, it offers a balance of automation, branding flexibility, and patient-engagement features that make it a valuable asset multi-location dental groups like mine, but I can see it being just as valuable for smaller scale practices as well
- While Mailchimp integrates with many systems, its direct integrations with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, OpenDental) can be limited without third-party connectors
- When our practices shifted to Carestack, we were no longer able to use MailChimp
Switched From
Our practice wanted to house our dental software and patient engagement into one software for usability and work flow.

Overall, Mailchimp is my go to for regular emails that need to go out consistently. It's easy to import in new subrcibers and they also so anyone that has unsubscribe as well.
- Mailchimp is an affordable option for companies both big and small
- It's easy to use to import in your own files or to build on their templates
- If you are on a fixed budget, there are many free options that can have a great look for your company and not break the bank
- I haven't found many cons to Mailchimp
- It's so easy to use and customize
- I do wish you could test what emails will look like on black screens versus white screens, because the colors you use can be impacted by it
Switched From
I needed more options with reporting features for an affordable price.
