Why I love Mangomint
10/10 I would recommend it to any service provider. It is so easy to use. As a service provider taking care of people all day, I know how important it is to make people feel seen and heard. Mangomint cares about its users too and they sent out notebooks!

- I am able to send clients messages and “flows” which enhance the client experience
- If I could change one thing about Mangomint it would be the ability to book a client without restyling their name in
- It would be helpful to click on a client you are checking out and book them right from there

Overall, Mangomint is my 3rd software in 9 months. I am obsessed with Mangomint and will utilize your platform for the foreseeable future. The user interface is top notch above other software demos I have endured. Although Mangomint is higher priced than other platforms, the additional features justify the price (the value for money).
- Mangomint is fantastic for the customer experience with booking and adding additional services
- I can easily add a custom items for extra profit building (customer support)
- The profit team was essential in assisting my small business with tips and tricks for improving customer retention
- The payment processing is in line with the other salon platforms
- Customers rave about the security of Mangomint while booking online
- Their card information isn't saved unless they choose; and they like that they don't have to do a profile
- I would suggest that Mangomint utilize text campaigns more and work this into their platform
- I used Gloss Genius and I noticed I had a better ROI with text messages versus email campaigns
- The refund process is poor
- I have had charge back requests
- There should be a streamlined process for returning deposits
- The scheduling system isn't conducive to teams
- I have to go between 'work hours' for each person and the appointment schedule
- I have to use my iPhone to look at one view and the laptop for another
- In California our nail techs are W2--which means I do their schedules

Their interfaces were clunky and kept crashing (Gloss Genius). Meevo overpromised what they could do for our salon. The customer phone calls increased because of the poor interface for booking online. Their scheduling feature needed help.

"The customer service from a customer who works for Mangomint. I had a poor tech the first demo. She prompted me to try again and I did. That tech was able to convert our software over in less than a week. We had instant feedback that this was an excellent choice (customers and staff)."

A lot of potential, but missing key features.
While we enjoy the quick responses from customer service and there are a lot of bells and whistles, the missing core features are a huge problem for us. Our intention with switching to this software, which is significantly more expensive than the rest on the market, was to automate our system as much as possible. We have a setup at our spa that is becoming more common in our industry- we don't have a full time front desk person and our providers are independent contractors. This makes features like clients being able to reschedule appointments, and streamlined tipping options absolutely necessary. Instead of making our lives easier, we have found that Mangomint is more work for everyone involved, including clients. It's disappointing for the price, and especially because we were not aware of these issues until after the significantly labor intensive onboarding process. We are as yet undecided as to whether we will stick with Mangomint past the trial period, and will certainly update this review if these issues are addressed.
- We love the look and feel of the interface, and the responsiveness of customer service
- The waiting room feature is helpful
- We like the options for staying engaged with clients via two way texting and email/text marketing
- We were shocked to find after the onboarding process that clients do not have the option to reschedule their own appointments
- With any other service on the market, this is a basic feature
- We require a booking deposit, so with our previous system, if a client needed to reschedule, they could do so at their convenience with the click of a button
- Their deposit would apply to the new appointment (provided they were within the cancellation policy window)
- With Mangomint, our clients are complaining constantly about having to completely rebook the appointment and pay a new deposit
- Furthermore, Mangomint does not keep track of deposits paid in an easily accessible way, so checkout in these situations is very problematic with us searching through client history for previous deposits paid, and doing math at the checkout desk
- Another issue is that when clients pay using memberships or packages, there is no automated prompt for the the client to have the option to tip the service provider
- Since the total is zero at checkout, the provider has to awkwardly ask the client if they want to tip, then send them a text that just says "pay for your appointment here"
- There are no tip percentage options in this text, just a zero balance and the client has to just come up with a number
- We find this to be an uncomfortable situation for both providers and clients, and it feels unprofessional
- While we appreciate that we can choose whether to "stack appointments" or allow clients to book any time, we wish that this was something that individual staff members could choose since they are independent contractors and have different preferences

100% satisfied with Mangomint
My experience has been amazing so far. I have been using the program for 6 months. It has not been "down" once. My clients love how easy it is to schedule appts. I love the abundance of features it offers. The onboarding and customer service is outstanding. I was using smaller platforms, that always were having issues, no customization, frustrating to use, ect. Switching to Mangomint was a breath of fresh air. Couldnt be happier.
- to start, i love the onboarding that you receive when you are a new customer
- The way they "hold your hand" and walk you through everything so you completely understand all of the features is amazing
- One of my favorite features is that when setting up services, there is a place you can require a client to view that offers add on services
- I love the option to have a separate phone number so you can text/call in app instead of using your personal number
- The ease of scheduling for clients is great
- The importing of all my client info was great, and time saving
- Well worth the money for all the features it offers
- Honestly, the only thing I haven't liked is that when I am creating an "offer' with a promo code, it was a little limiting
- There were work arounds for everything i was trying to do, but trying to provide a very specific offer was a little frustrating
- No where near a deal breaker

The best booking and POS platform for a spa!
After using multiple scheduling platforms and having frustrations with all of them, I have been more than happy with Mangomint. Not only does it have every feature I need in my business, the system is very reliable and hardly ever glitches if at all which was a constant problem with other platforms I've used. Overall I'm extremely happy with Mangomint and I hope they continue to improve the user experience and features to keep it top notch!
- I love the clean and easy to use platform
- It's not only easy for my team to use, but also for the client to use
- I love that clients don't need a login to book online, and the process to book online is very simple and straight forward
- There is almost every single feature you could ask for in a booking site, and they continue to add more
- Any time I need assistance, I get a real person to help me and they're always friendly and able to help me out
- I wish there were a few more features like a longer checkout period with the self checkout link which expires quickly, and better gap prevention on the online scheduling
- The cancel/reschedule link could also be more visible on the the confirmation messages
- The card readers are also finicky but I've had that issue with every card reader from every other booking platform/pos system I've used

I’d definitely recommend MangoMint
I’m a huge fan of MangoMint. The user experience is easy and seamless, the customer support is top tier and it works for my team.
- The customer support is unmatched
- The response time is so quick and you’re clearly speaking with an actual human that isn’t just reading a script but knows how the system works and wants to see you succeed without wasting your time
- Also, I love the features like two way messaging, text reminders and our ability to write our newsletter and filter clients based on the message we’re sending
- I wish when running reports that there was a drop down menu instead of having to scroll through each month
- Additionally, I’m really getting into tracking my KPI’s and sometimes I have to play around with the reports to get the info I need
- But overall I’m still really happy with the reports you can run

Great Booking App!
I really love Mangomint. The helpdesk folks respond fairly quickly and are REALLY nice and helpful. As an IT consultant at a college, we are using Mangomint in many different ways than what it was designed for.
- Mangomint is an easy to use web app that even the least tech savvy users can navigate
- Easy to create forms from an Admin perspective and our clients seem to be able to navigate it well
- BIG shoutout to those helpdesk folks in the chat
- I have to figure out workarounds for some of the forms and scheduling
- Not really a con, just time consuming
- I really wish there was an App to install on clients phones
- Having clients that don't have a password to log in to their own account(s) is frustrating for the clients
- We have had many complain

Salon Software made easy
