GIS software that matters.
The overal experience is very good, with the tools and features and plug-ins, the majority of logistics analysis projects can be executed.
The User Interface, offering tools and features that are only a few clicks away with excellent inbuilt support pages and examples
Focus not so much on Europe, maps for European countries are not as actual as for other countries

Best Mapping Software out there
Even though I only use it on occasion, I can always pick right back up where I left off. After you learn it, it gets easy to use. I tried other solutions but Maptitude was always the best. The cost is good compared to other solutions.
- I can always complete the needed task
- I often need help and Customer Support is always there to help me
- The learning curve requires a lot of time
- It is worth it but for me I could not just jump in and so some of the things I needed to do
- After investing time in learning I can complete whatever I need
- I have never found anything it is not capable of doing
- I learn something everytime I use it

MS Visio did not do everything I needed it to do. It was a lower level program that used data for display but no analysis tools existed

"The cost was much better and customer service was better in my opinion. Requests were always answered quickly with Maptitude but when I did a trial of the other product a question sometimes took days to get assistance."

Good review for a very useful and complete mapping tool
I like working with Maptitude, every time I use it I learn a little more about it. About the tool fleet and route management I haven't used this till know. This software is bougth by the IT- department of my organisation so I'm sure that security and value for money are good. Otherwise they had chosen for other software.
- there is all sorts of options in one tool
- Like territories, route optimizationand customer density
- But also the possibility to change the used data in Maptitude
- The mapping is clear, nice you can choose what you want to see like districts, postal codes etc
- It is difficult when you use it for the first time
- It needs some time to learn how to use all the different options/ tools
- With the help from [sensitive content hidden] and her training I got the skills to use Maptitude and experience and learn further about the software and all its possibilities

Maptitude is a great value with many capabilities!!!
Amazing value for so many capabilities!!! Support isn't needed much but when it is, they are quick and helpful to handle questions. Love this Maptitude!
- The quick and easy capability to map our own data and join with many levels of geography
- The on-board demographic information is very helpful as well
- The annual renewal process is a bit bumpy
- Downloading updated version doesn't always go off seamlessly

Great product, very useful
Works great. Does what we need. We are very happy with it! After a bit of learning curve we are able to do things that we couldn't do with any other software, saving us a lot of time.

- It's a bit complicated but that is more of an issue of the type of work we do than the software

Great GIS with affordable perpetual license, not bloated but you may miss features from ESRI
If you already know GIS you will find this easy to use. Interface is more like pre-Pro ArcMap but that's fine. I'm agnostic to ribbons vs. buttons. The point is to run the analysis. It hasn't crashed on me once. Way fewer geoprocessing tools than you might be used to, so if you're doing very specialized work check the documentation.

- Much easier to reach a purchasing decision
- I loved the integrated country data package so I didn't have to download census layers and other info - it was all built in
- No way to share live interactive maps with stakeholders
- Most of us GIS users want to run the analysis and then share with a non-GIS expert without them needing to have the software
- I think there is a separate online license but that was not available in my company's pre-approved software purchasing program
- One strong feature I recommend is a job history log with time run
- I ran a filter on nationwide streets and it took ages
- I'd like to know how many minutes it ran so I can re-run it again without disrupting my workflow

Great Map Software
great - works perfectly for our needs. Building territories are simple and we just used the heat map functionality to adjust our service routes
Fair Price - a great amount of data is included with the software and their support is awesome
