5 stars Inventory App
Before MM my inventory was really bad and once I discover this app everything felt into pieces. Good training team, they answer all my questions really fast and scheduling a web training with them is really easy and fast.
- Easy to use, placing order really fast with the phone app, best Inventory count system, best up to date inventory control (literally just a click away), time saving when it comes to invoicing (once the order is placed from MM, it's just a click away to transform it into an invoice), integrate with Quickbooks and Revel, cookbooks and multiple measurement units
- The best customer service and the training team
When integrating with my Revel system, if I change the name of an item, in MM it will appear as a new item and it's hard to follow older reports since the date is not consistent

Marketman for Pizza Restaurant
It’s been a ride. Once I get it fully setup it will be awesome! However the setup has been a process
- I like most is marketmans capabilities
- It is very detailed
- My major vendors invoices can be sent straight to the software without lifting a finger
- Orders have capabilities to be directly automated and sent into our vendors online ordering platform
- Constantly tracks inventory
- The setup is very tedious and takes a LOT of work
- They help you through the startup and provide with training videos but it would’ve been nicer if they would have worked hand and hand until setup (a lot to ask for I realize and they do offer recipe building at a cost)
- In a user friendly scale 1-5 I give it a 3

Seemed to have have more tools and better functions. It also seemed to integrate easier. Customer service was better

Good luck trying to cancel without wanting to smash your head through a wall
Frustrating - for no reason, especially when trying to cancel. Good luck trying to figure that out if you ever have to.
- I think if this integrates with your POS - it is a reasonable software
- There are a lot of companies that do similar - integration is probably the most useful thing so make sure they integrate
- If not I wouldn't consider them
- Extremely Frustrating Cancellation Process – Beware Before Signing Up MarketMan is a fairly easy-to-use SAAS product and getting started was simple enough
- We used it for several years, despite the fact that it was never integrated with our POS system — which made it clunky and inefficient compared to competitors
- We finally made the switch to a much better, integrated platform
- That’s when the real headache started
- Trying to cancel MarketMan was like jumping through flaming hoops
- They pulled the classic move of referencing “contract terms” and a required 60-day notice — which I tried to provide
- Instead of simply processing the cancellation, they responded with calendar invites and offers to “jump on a call” to show me what the software could do
- After years of being a paying customer, this was insulting and incredibly tone-deaf
- I made it crystal clear: just cancel my account
- Charge me for the 60 days if you must
- I don’t care — just cancel
- Instead, they dragged things out with useless back-and-forth emails, hoops to jump through, and more pointless invitations to talk about features I’ve already used and decided weren’t worth it
- It's the kind of dark-pattern nonsense that gives SAAS companies a bad name
- You are not incurring costs to support me during the "notice period" — you’re just trying to trap customers into paying longer than they want to
- I shouldn’t have to email a dozen people or waste time scheduling calls just to stop paying for a product I no longer want to use
- MarketMan, maybe take a look at the new “click-to-cancel” law that was passed — it exists because of tactics like yours
- If you want software that works with your systems and a company that treats its customers with respect — especially when they want to leave — I strongly suggest looking elsewhere

Top of the line, Restaurant Management Software.
I have begun using MM, in 2017, at its earliest days. It has paid for itself, in every single project I have applied MM to. From Costing Analysis, Stock Tracking, Online Ordering, and Price Checks, I was able to reduce overall COGS by 8-12%, and in one particular case, almost 15%! Using MarketMana at its fullest has helped me achieve COGS targets, minimize pilferage, negotiate better pricing with suppliers, and through their numerous and highly customizable reports, I was able to tackle all problems at a granular level! It's your best tool in the box!
- What I do love most about MM, is the fact that it keeps improving itself year by year
- The guys at MM, have one mission alone, and that is to become the leaders in Restaurant Management software
- I must add that I have implemented MarketMan, not only in Restaurants but also in Manufacturing kitchens, Distribution Centers, Multi-outlet Fast Casuals, and Concession Restaurants
- Not one has regretted investing in MarketMan
- It does what it says on the box
- 1) Missing Nutritional Facts for menu items - very important

Good as a stand alone application
I wouldn't recommend Marketman to integrate with Square. I think using Marketman as a stand alone product would be fine.

great [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was wonderful, and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is great also
- set up was easy, the support was good and great follow thru
- when you first set up
- you should have more dialog with the company on how they would like to see items listed
- i had a lot double redoing the original set up very time consuming
- i like the credit function but i don't understand why if the price drops it shows as a credit

Food Costing & Analysis
We have been very pleased with MarketMan since the beginning. And even though this has been a really strange year, we have worked to implement the software at a location while trying to navigate the "new normal" with COVID, but we have been very well supported by MarketMan during this time.
- This product is instrumental in ensuring your food costs are on a budget
- I have used several Food Costing software packages, and MarketMan is really great at getting those costs under control and monitoring changes
- The only thing that I would really like to have added would be a push into Square from Marketman
- Such as price and inventory changes could be set in MarketMan, and they would push into Square, but this is really a minor want

We really couldn't get Restaurant365 to work the way we had intended. The customer service was about the worst I have ever had in any industry, and the onboarding process was botched from the beginning.

"MarketMan seemed to offer better integration with the POS and had a robust way to create and track menu items from inventory, to prep, to sales. Once the onboarding had begun, we were pretty sure this would do what we were looking to have done"

Super Easy and Accurate
Easy Implementation. Easily accessible. Easy to train team. Export and Importing options are great.
- Marketman captures all the information and the user-friendliness someone can expect
- It feels very personalized

- I have used several software, I can say marketman is certainly the best
- Phone support needs to be more prompt
