Good Old-fashioned Inventory Management Application
Like I mentioned before, it does the job just fine, so I give it a 4-star review. However, I had a really bad user experience, due to wrong data mapping by the jointed task force.
- It’s a great user-friendly inventory management tool for Windows OS
- Despite its UI looking old-fashion, it does the job just fine

- To elaborate, the UI looks like early 2000s Windows applications, which makes it look old

Amazing system, amazing people!
[sensitive content hidden] at Fishbowl made the entire process as seamless as possible. We came from a fan inferior system with a UI that left my employee's confused and constantly making mistakes. Fishbowl was willing to help guide those employees, and worked tirelessly to ensure we could migrate from our old system with ease. Thank you Fishbowl Team!
- Fishbowl has an end user friendly UI that makes creating orders, and purchase orders seamless
- It allows for quick and easy inventory management, and notifies users of inventory deficiencies right away
- The cost per account is fair for a system of this caliber
- Set up with Makayla was a breeze, she was a great help in getting this moving with Fishbowl, even when our migration was not a simple case by any means
- I don't have any complaints about this system
- I have made some UI suggestions, and I was made aware that those suggestions were sent up to the development team right away
- Great system, amazing customer support, and engineers who are willing to hear from their end users

User interface. Our costs definitely went up a little, but the spend is well worth the increase with the level of support we got on onboarding.

I love the ease of analyzing each piece of our manufacturing process.

Fishbowl makes it easy
I like how easy the navigation within Fishbowl is. Companies with not complicated processing methods find Fishbowl a great software solution.
- Fishbowl is not complicated to use
- It is user-friendly and finding information and navigation is relatively easy
- It is comparatively difficult to get correct information out of one report
- Sometimes, I have to run multiple reports to get the information I need

New Customer glitch!
Overall Fishbowl is a great software to use and is usually, very user friendly. We use it for our Inventory, Work Orders and Sales Orders.

First time user - very satisfied
I have been using Fishbowl for almost three years now, and the more time I spend on it the more I discover it is capable of. For our business it has been a very useful tool.
- Customer support is always excellent, the system itself is user friendly and easy to navigate if you are familiar with most POS systems
- The inventory system has more detail than any system I have worked with in he past
- It can be difficult finding the correct report you need to get the data you are looking for
- Example being finding the report to see how many of a particular part has been sold over a given period of time

Its pretty good. straightforward implementation. Learning curve is pretty flat. Support is fantastic
- User Interface , Sophisticated Manufacturing , Purchase , Products , BOM , part modules
- QuickBooks integration, Customization , Support and inventory management are pretty good as well
- Fishbowls reporting and dashboards are pretty good
- Support is always there whenever its needed
- RMA module is limited
- No invoice module
- Going back to the parent BOM in BOM module is not possible
- We have to go to part module and click BOM and come back to the parent BOM
- I think this is a needed feature

Fishbowl Review
Overall, Fishbowl has been a strong solution for our operations. Once our team got through the training and initial adjustment, the platform has made our inventory processes much smoother and more accurate. It’s helped us cut down on manual errors, improve visibility across the supply chain, and gain better control of costs. While it takes some effort upfront, the payoff in efficiency has been worth it.
- Fishbowl does a great job at consolidating inventory management into one platform
- The real-time tracking of parts and assemblies, along with automated reorder points, has saved us from running into stockouts
- I also appreciate the multi-location management—it makes it easy to keep visibility across multiple warehouses
- The QuickBooks integration is seamless, so we don’t have to manually enter data twice
- The system can feel overwhelming at first—there are a lot of features, and the learning curve is a bit steep
- Some reports also require customization to really fit our business needs, which means extra time setting them up
- Occasionally, system updates require a little troubleshooting

Good Product
Very good, the best part of all of this is the people are very friendly and helpful when it is needed.
- Easy to use, great support when needed
- No issues with keeping all our information secure, people are friendly
- Set up is a bit challenging
- The cost to get help is a bit much, and it seems like there should be more set up included
