A gem of a workspace! A stable and professional solution.
Notion is one of the greatest workspaces, for small teams it's excellent in terms of connectivity and visualisation. Databases are seamlessly integrated, everything works properly!
- Notion is and was, the most versatile and easy to use workspace solution for us
- We started using it around 3 years now and
- we will keep using it
- It combines databases and it is as easy to use as saying ABC
- a gem to us
Some missing aspects, nothing major but sometimes we had to document ourselves more just to find out "ah it does that too"

Highly recommended for collaborating working
Great platform. Intuitive. Easy to use. Good installable desktop interface as well as web. Offline mode is awesome for working on the train. Highly recommended.
- Notion is the original block based collaborative working platform and I’ve found it fantastic to use for my clients
- The tools to create SOPs, workflow, links between objects, guest accounts, version control and full history are all major pluses for Notion
- The licensing model quickly becomes expensive as you invite more people to work within your workspace
- Per user this is low, but cumulatively it can become significant
- For very small businesses it’s somewhat cost prohibitive unless your business can make a saving elsewhere I

Why they chose it
"One main feature really. The document history timelines in Notion include the year. They don’t in clickup!"

lots of customization possibilities.
steep learning curve, but once you get passed it, it is worth it.
- I like how everything is combined into one
- I can customize everything and anything I want in my way
- You would have to learn how to use it
- There is lots of customization possibilities which I like, but also it can be over whelming for beginners
- It was overwhelming for me too
- I sometimes prefer obsidian just because it's easier

All your data in one place
Verified reviewer
- Notion has the ability to be an all-in-one
- From keeping a database, like keeping a simple note
- Its internal capabilities make it a fundamental tool for conserving data
- It has a fairly steep learning curve, sometimes learning how to handle data relationships is complex
- Although there are many tutorials, it becomes difficult
Why they chose it
"Price and popularity. Templates of everything and for everything."

Unmatched customization
Overall I've had a great experience with the tool both for personal use and for my small team. Personally, I find the learning curve to be worth it in the long run.
- I love how customizable Notion is and how easy it is to build exactly what you need
- The templates help save time when creating pages, the database functionalities are getting much better, the integrations are quite powerful and the look is great (if you put a little effort in
- )
The customizablility and blank canvas you begin with does mean there is a steeper learning curve with Notion than with other tools that might be more pre-configured

The best team software
Notion has been great for our team, it is easy to learn, great interface, and I can login from my computer and phone!
- This may be the greatest task management and special projects software ever created
- Our company has a master list of 70 tasks due for a project that each of our team members is assigned to
- We date when the task has started and when it is done
- There is a lot of automation that we have not even scratched the surface of
- I think Notion is amazing but their AI assistant could use some more work
- I used it when it first came out and its task automation was not great and then I hit a pay wall for wanting to use it more
- Would love an unlimited conversation AI later

Centralized project management and collaboration for editorial teams.
Notion's clarity of workspace smoothed the management of editorial projects, reducing email clutter and helping us collaborate on articles and deadlines more rapidly. It has allowed our team to stay connected, enhance task management, and maintain the quality of the publication in the International Journal of Nursing and Health Services.
- I love how Notion lets me organize article drafts, editorial calendars, and team notes in one place
- It's easy for our small publishing team to collaborate, share updates, and keep track of assignments without having to switch between tools
- Sometimes, advanced features or permissions can get confusing
- Getting timely customer support takes some effort
- New team members need extra guidance to get up to speed, which is challenging during busy submission periods

A Fantastic Project Management Tool
I've been using notion for about 5 years and manage a small team for building websites on a regular basis. We use notion for project tracking and task management.
- Helps me manage a team of developers, organize our SOPs and track projects
- It is my primary project management tool as a web developer
The learning curve can be a little steep if you're not familiar with how databases work, but that can be solved with coaching and youtube

Appealing but complicated
I joined Notion because I work with a data science team, and this seems to be the project management application in this field. It took me a while to get used to Notion. I understand why young people like it, but I'm not sure what advantages it offers me compared to more traditional applications like Asana. Notion cost is covered by my University.
I really appreciate the innovative interface: the design is modern and allows for different project layouts
- I think Notion offers too many options
- When you're used to working with more traditional project management applications, Notion can be overwhelming
Switched From
My team uses Notion so I had to join it.

Major Customization
The overall experience was sufficient. While I am not sure that an average user could easily implement this, Notion is undeniably a useful tool for one's workspace.
- Notion is highly customizable and enables exceptional project collaboration and task management
- The ability to create several digital notebooks and dashboards facilitates superb organization and more effective project completion
- There was a substantial learning curve due to the extensive customization, particularly for a beginner
- Ease of mobilization was challenging
