A wonderful Tour operator software
Peek is simple to use. They provide excellent customer support, which was very helpful when I was switching from my previous online booking provider.
- I'm from India , and we searched for a tour operator software that would accommodate our trips and allow for quick and simple payment
- As you are aware, it can be challenging to create a dependable system for our clients in our area
- It was difficult for us here
- No customers are expressing a desire to go, particularly to Wayanad
- We chose Peek Pro because it is dependable, allows us to change the details of our tours in real time, pays us once the tours are completed, is actively developing new features that we can use in our company, and—most importantly—is run by people
- Having a decent tool to advertise our firm is a relief as we are now moving toward having a greater ROI
- Taxes are already included in the cost of our trips and rentals
- But only put their fees in the "Taxes and Fees" section after that
- I'm just being nitpicky when I say that I believe the checkout should be improved
- The complexity of some of the screens varies, although not significantly

Our previous software was cumbersome and difficult to use. The best part of Peek Pro, in my opinion, is that you can choose to either pay for the software yourself or incorporate a little cost with each booking you receive. Let's also talk about how fantastic their customer service staff was. When I ever had a problem, they responded to me within an hour, and frequently, thanks to their online chat assistance, they did it in just a few minutes.

Made the switch back to Peek. You should too.
Excellent. I was with Peek for a couple years, then switched to FareHarbor for the past few years. I switched back and couldn't have been happier. They made the transition back easy and quick. Thorough without feeling overwhelmed. And their tech is great.

- The support/on-boarding staff (especially [sensitive content hidden]) were top notch and made the transition to the platform easy
- She consistently followed up and had an answer to everyone of my questions
- Needs a few more portal partners
- But that can be easily fixed

FareHarbor made some payment changes that were not conducive to the long term health of my company. And I didn't like their UX

Best Customer Service EVER
#1 booking software program.
- This software was a complete godsend when it came into my life while I was doing marketing
- We provided wine tours to individuals and typically downloaded their information to put into our emailing system
- The old software we used to use was clunky and complicated
- Peek pro was fantastic, the thing I liked most about them is that you had the ability to either pay for the software yourself, or include just a small fee with every booking you received
- Also, let's talk about how absolutely AMAZING their customer service team was
- If I ever had any sort of problems they got back to me within an hour, and often times with their online chat support they were back to me within minutes
- I would highly recommend this software to anyone
Honestly, I can't say one thing that I didn't like about this software, it is perfect for large and small business, and even has an eCommerce area where you can sell merchandise

I'm having a lot of fun with the system, I have a few test reservations from trusted resellers to get a feedback. The system itself is easy to use even though it is complex it never feels like things are hidden or difficult to find.
- It is a very complex system and comes with a lot of features that provide a great customer experience when making reservations and also keeping them informed
- The customer portal is amazing to communicate information to the guests
- Overall the automation is a great time saver, mass texting and email is another great feature to reach out at once
- Also a lot of features for the back office to run reports, to organize things and it is lightning fast
- There aren't really any cons that I came across, none that I can think off
Switched From
WooCommerce is not good if I am real honest, lots of features that all cost extra. Bookly is very buggy.
Why they chose it
"I was looking at Origin mostly because it was tour operator optimized however their support team stopped talking to me and compared to Peek pro it was very lightweight. WooCommerce is slow and everything is an add-on that costs x-amount of money which adds and skyrockets the yearly costs. FareHarbor was not an option because it sometimes just doesn't load and changes that were made to the manifest doesn't transfer to server side from the mobile app."

Fantastic Folks
Trained pros that are willing to train their clients. I'm not a big tech guy and they went out of their way to make it happen. Austin doesn't make enough money to put up with old dogs like me.

Look for a different booking company. One with back end support.
Luke warm at best. There have been booking problems, GETTING PAID problems, refunding problems, and a general lack of regard for problem solving.
- I have been a user for 10 years
- Peek used to be easier to use when they had staff for customer service
- Peek keeps diminishing their back end help
- Now, Peek tries to use backend AI
- Totally useless
- Look, I am paying Peek to manage my bookings for a fee
- That comes with the expectation that I can get a problem solved in the first contact
- The best, most efficient contact is with a human
- I will either go back to paper and pencil or find another provider,

"I had left Peek for a couple years for lack of backend suoort. Fairharbor hires contractors. So, attention to detail was terrible. We would get a different tech each time. The tech's were committed to a quick fix not the right fix."

Onboarding review
[sensitive content hidden] was great to work with during my onboarding.
- More advanced features than Fareharbor
- Scheduling activities is easy and creating calendars that are interactive with my clients is great
- Some of the report features are difficult to reconcile with my QuickBooks

False Promises at Sales and ZERO Customer Service
Terrible, see the cons I already described. DO NOT USE PEEK, YOUR BUSINESS WILL SUFFER AND YOUR TIME WILL BE WASTED! We have grown out of WIX bookings but seriously look at that for a very feature rich low cost solution!
- The interface, feature list and functionality for the customer seems to be great
- Setup help is limited, support and setup knowledge of their own product almost doesn't exist
- They claim to have 7 day per week support over 4 time zones which is a complete lie
- You can not contact people on support chat, phone or any other way than ticketing which takes 48 hours to resolve at a minimum
- If you run into a business stopping issue, you will be completely screwed and it is obvious no one there cares or has a plan to fix this
- You will be sold features that do not work or can not be implemented without complex work arounds if at all
- I question if they are even still in business with how challenging it is to get in contact with them which was not the case when we first signed up

Peek Pro may do everything, but it will cost you valuable time with its complexity
I am constantly having to take training classes and ask for help with basic things such as adjusting when we are open for business. I am spending more time trying to learn how to operate it and adjust it that I am running the business. Their support staff is helpful, but that does not solve the incredible complexity of using the program, and I say this as someone who has easily mastered graphics art software and I run other entire websites.
- Peek Pro can do almost anything for rental and event bookings
- Peek Pro is very complicated to set up and even more complicated for the tour or rental operator to use
- Nothing is simple on the backend, only for the customer

Why they chose it
"Because it looked like it could do more and had waivers included, FareHarbor did not have waivers. I plan to go back and try FareHarbor. I cannot afford the hours Peek is costing me."
