Fantastic experience with Purple Pass

A+. I remember when I was looking for a new company and the one I chose wouldn't answer their phones-they told you to talk to the "group," the way G--gle does, rather than be of help. When I finally reached someone, she said she could help once only. I was a potential new customer, and she didn't care. Horrible experience. Purple Pass is the antithesis of this experience. The people are so knowledgeable and friendly, and it's obvious that comes from the attitude of the [sensitive content hidden], who has been fantastic throughout the experience. Can't say enough good things about this company. Then as a topper, we get paid within a few days of our event end. Amazing!

  • How responsive their team is when I need help
  • If I can't reach a person because of the time difference, they promptly call me the next morning
  • They've always been able to assist me with whatever I needed, and are endlessly cheerful in doing so
  • I have a great IT guy who has suggestions and they are open to listening and implementing his ideas, if they already didn't have it in the works
  • Terrific company
Room for improvement
  • It's a programming issue
  • When we have a group discount offered, if people mix types of tickets, it doesn't encompass all the tickets
  • They have to be all the same type for it to work
  • This needs to be updated
  • Otherwise, no complaints

Purplepass is a smart choice for your venue

Purplepass has been an amazing find for our organization. We were looking for a ticketing system that would being just as intuitive for us as it was for our audience, while also being const efficient for both, and Purplepass could not be beat.

What they liked
  • Purplepass is a fairly intuitive platform, easy to navigate and it takes no time to set up a new event
  • Their system is deigned with both the customer and the customer's audience in mind
  • Their staff are always prompt and friendly and incredibly helpful when you have a question
  • Best of all, the cost to our organization is zero, Purplepass service fees are minimal and can be absorbed by your organization or passed along to the audience member, so we just adjust out pricing to offset those small costs
Room for improvement
  • We have had no significant issues
  • Purplepass has made adjustments for us as we needed them to and are working on updating some things that we had asked them about, again showing that they are responsive and have their customers best interests at heart
Switched From

AudienceView took fees from us every month on top of a fee per ticket, and their system was not nearly as organized or intuitive as Purplepass. The team at Purplepass was very responsive to us and made us feel at home.

Easy to use

Overall I've had a great experience with Purplepass and their customer support team.

What they liked
  • Purplepass is very user friendly, and it's also easy for me to set up when creating events
  • I direct plays and musicals and they make it very easy to sell tickets and receive payment
Room for improvement
  • I wish there was a way to set up an event for one day at multiple times
  • For example, a play that shows at 3pm and 7pm
  • In order to do this, I have to create multiple links

Purplepass is highly recommended

It was my first time using purple pass for my event and was overall satisfied with the process of setting up the link for ticket purchases.

  • The ticket link set up was very easy to use and follow
  • It guides you step by step and is easy to go back and make edits / adjustments
Room for improvement
  • I wasn’t particularly sure how I would be able to check in or scan tickets
  • I did receive a master list of all tickets sold but was still unsure how I would be able to scan them

Purplepass is the Best!

My overall experience with purplepass is that as long as I am in business, I will use it. It's easy and very effective.

What they liked
  • Purplepass is the most user friendly ticketing site we have used
  • The support received is top shelf and always has been
  • Implementing this into our events was very easy and the number of features Purplepass is right up there with all the rest
  • We frequently use Purplepass for events especially in and around the bigger cities but the smaller markets are just as easy to integrate with our systems as well

We're Glad We Switched to Purplepass

Based on our experience, we'd recommend Purplepass without hesitation to any event organizer. The functionality of the platform is excellent, and the price extremely reasonable.

What they liked
  • We especially appreciate the ease with which we can post events and develop ticketing options, with how-to videos conveniently embedded in the relevant sections of the template
  • And patrons have commented on the ease of buying tickets through Purplepass, not always what we heard before we switched
  • We also appreciate the wide variety of report customization options, because they ensure we can access whatever information we need and present it in whatever form is most useful for communicating with staff, board, or advertisers and funders
  • Probably the feature we appreciate most is the exemplary customer service

Purplepass Ticketing Software

From the start, the staff have been professional and helpful. There is not a question too small that they won't help solve. If you make a suggestion to make a change to the software to make the system work better for you, they will always listen and send your thoughts up to the development team. A lot of times, you are not the only users who has a similar thought.

  • The working relationship we have with our Purplepass support tech is fantastic
  • Responses to email, voicemail and phone calls are always prompt
  • Changes to events are made in real time
  • You can open and close sections of venues as needed with very little effort
  • Our students enjoy the passcode feature so they can purchase tickets at their convenience
Room for improvement
  • When we first started with Purplepass, they didn't have a user manual
  • An online user manual is now available to help with questions

Easy, Professional Ticketing Service

Overall, I would highly recommend Purplepass. Their system is incredibly easy to use, and our patrons are very happy with it as well.

What they liked
  • Purplepass Ticketing is very easy to use
  • The process of creating a new event, and running the box office for that event is very intuitive - to the point where I was able to take over running things for my college Theatre Department without any training
  • The few times I did run into trouble, there was usually a quick solution to be found in the various help guides
  • When I did need to contact customer service, responses were very fast and solutions were immediately offered
  • It makes for a very smooth experience for organizers and for our patrons
  • The ticketing website looks very professional, and the seating charts for reserved seating options are great
  • The new rollout for the box office POS also makes it easier to do comp tickets or to add promo codes at the box office window, which we love
Room for improvement

I still run into occassional problems with hardware (mostly the ticket and receipt printers), but this isn't really an issue with Purplelass - it's just that Boca printers can be rather finicky

Purplepass - Accessible, Efficient & Flexible

It's a most agreeable melding of accessibility and efficiency. I'm able to easily post new events, and also make changes as needed. Our patrons appreciate how much easier Purplepass makes their ticket-buying experience as compared to other systems. Purplepass is an excellent option for managing multiple facilities as we do at Pensacola State.

end to end ticketing plaftform

Purplepass provides a comprehensive end to end ticketing platform for our non-profit's needs. The setup is easy. All options in ticketing like multiple categories, pricing options, coupon codes, sale open/close customization are provided. In addition, physical scanners and smartphone based scanners make it easy to checkin attendees on event day. The support from the staff has been excellent.

  • Ticketing for the event can be setup as a self-service with the online web interface
  • All possible options including multi day event, coupon code options, pricing categories and several customizable options make it a comprehensive platform
  • The support is very responsive and often provides quick and simple solutions
Room for improvement

At times the embedded ticket widget does not work as intended and we need to reach out to support to resolve it

Switched From

We used Paypal as a backend with our own custom front-end based on opensource software. As the organization's needs grew the opensource front-end lacked features and flexibility for the needs and hence we needed a more sophisticated platform. So, we made the switch to Purplepass.

Why they chose it

"Purplepass was chosen by my predecessor. However, after extensive collaboration with both teams to get the features needed for our organization, he decided to go with Purplepass."
