You can turn Shopify into whatever you want (legally)
Shopify Plus has been great for our small business. We are able to pretty much use it as our entire ERP. Impressive.
What I like most about Shopify Plus is that it truly delivers the full value of every dollar you spend, provided you make the best use of it
- Shopify is built with Ruby on Rails, which then has it's own templating language called Liquid
- If you don't like coding, this may not be for you

Good Solution for E-commerce
My overall experience with Shopify has been great. The customer support hasnt been needed often, but when it has been used, the employees have been very helpful. We will continue using Shopify plus for the foreseeable future.
- I like the ability to customize the most about shopify plus
- As a growing business with complex needs, customization has been important
- I also like the customer supper and ability to access beta programs
- 100 Variant limit is the worst thing about shopify plus
- Though, as I understand it, that limit is about to be removed

Great for bigger business.
Overall, we had an okay experience. There were some features that we really loved but a lot of the features we wanted, we still needed to purchase apps for. We wish there was more support throughout the entire time we were with Plus.
- I enjoyed having the checkout liquid to customize the checkout process
- I also enjoyed having access to the launch pad app
- The price for us wasn't worth it
- It's incredibly expensive and i think it's more useful for B2B business
- We have a hard time using the full value of the platform
- We were promised support throughout to grow our store but it went away once the platform was fully set up

There's nothing we don't appreciate, we love everything and would not switch to any other solutions at this time

Great for E-commerce
We had a very good experience and our work was done very swiftly.
- The Process to start a new website using Shopify is very easy
- It is also very simple for new users with no developing skills to start with Shopify
- Integration with most apps is very convenient and can be easily handled
Some of the features need some time to understand and need good knowledge about a particular feature

- Shopify plus caters to the businesses unique needs and workflows
- Not much to put here, sometimes shopify will update how or where something is shown on the page
- Without notice of the change it can cause a little bit of confusion if you are not able to locate the change or adjustment it can be frustrating but nothing that has caused us too much admin to solve

They overpriced, oversold, and under-delivered on Plus for SMBs

The ability to customize checkout and enjoy lower CC processing fees, as well as other basic features they gate-keep behind plus
- They fraudulently represented the features and benefits included including priority support and merchant success teams that literally do not exist beyond "growth manager" sales reps reaching out to up-sell you on taking loans or buying other services
- Furthermore after we cancelled Plus, they kept billing us for one of its features (POS PRO) that transitioned into a separate active subscription that we never authorized or used, charging us $5k+ over a year that they refuse to refund

Excellent E-Commerce platform
Extremely happy with it, so many integrations, reporting tools, ease of use for everyone including those not technically inclined.
So user friendly, up to date with newest innovations and trends, multiple integrations you can use, very efficient reporting
They assign you a n account manager but they really can’t help, promise you the world then move on, and give you a new person who does the same thing

- I liked Shopify Plus as an IT lead for their enterprise level security and the flexibility of the API
- We were able to drop in our own custom checkout logic, SSO, and automated workflow without impacting perf
- The price scheme is steep, particularly for functions that often involve third-party apps
- I also feel support response is slower during peak seasons

Powerful platform with room to grow
Well when I have a sale my shop moves fine , I've never had a problem with any payments methods . I never have to stress about any tech stuff which def ease my mind less for me to worry about .
