CIN7 is Great for the Middle Tier company looking to move from small business
CIN7 was easy to implement into our Techstack, When placing orders on CIN7 it was made with ease. But CIN7 only works with small to mid-level businesses. If your company continues to grow, You will grow out of CIN7.
- CIN7 works excellently as a Sales Tool, CRM, and Order Management software when connecting your eCommerce platform
- it is excellent for Small businesses looking to get a grip on a more enterprise-level Inventory Management system
- CIN7 works great for a company not focused on manufacturing and just distribution
- Due to CIN7 not being able to Commit stock for Backorders
- Also not being able to have a Barcode System is a negative aspect

Happy to be with CIN7
My overall experience with CIN7 has been excellent. There are some areas that are not ideal but 95% of the program serves us well.
- Cin7 is our central hub for our business where our ecomm and wholesale ordering systems connect
- Order management and inventory management quite good although we are using a consignment model and the dashboard does not really support us well
I find that when creating branches for consignment the dashboard reports SOH and available stock of all branches which is misleading - consignment branches means our stock is located with customers - therefore the SOH and Avail stock should be shown on the dashboard by branch or at least for the main branch, minus consigned stock

Cin7 is a decision we don't regret.
We started with Cin7 before the pandemic hit. They have you partnered with someone to help with set up and then when you go live. We went live April 2020. I missed having easy access to someone to help us, answer questions, do minor configurations that we saw we needed. After a few months, we went to premier level. That was the smartest thing. We had a direct contact, weekly calls, any tickets or requests were managed timely. After 6 months or so, "we got it", and have been on our own. Still send in random support tickets, but I am proud of our whole team that we know how to leverage the tool.
- Our end goal was to use Shopify
- Cin7 was the inventory management solution that made the most sense
- We could also integrate with Xero and ShipStation
- One transaction flows through the tool the same way, whether I start in POS, Shopify or Cin7 back end
- Makes it seamless for our team to process
- I trust the data
- This is one source of truth
- We are an apparel wholesaler, so we have learned to look at style-color-size different
- We would like to be able to scan both customer orders and inventory transfers or counts
- That isn't fully enabled yet

Great Product, Feature Packed, Helpful Support Team
Overall we love Cin7 and would be lost without the platform. We're mostly happy with the product but it would be great if they could address the intermittent performance issues and improve the help articles so they more clearly articulate what the "best practice" settings are when configuring the software for a typical business.
- Cin7 Omni is packed with functionality and connects to all the common marketplaces we work with
- The core functionality powers our eCommerce operations, inventory management and warehouse
- The value delivered is significant and the capability would be hard to replicate with alternative solutions
- We have intermittent performance / loading issues with the system from time to time that usually resolve themselves within a minute or two and configuring the system correctly can be challenging given the level of flexibility the system has to adapt to your workflows but the support team are there to help guide you if you get stuck
- I recently had a great interaction with [sensitive content hidden] in the support team when configuring my new Amazon Marketplace connection
