Their support is great. I've had dozens of questions and they always get back to me. And they send your payments super fast. Great experience overall.

- Oh man, this is a breath of fresh air
- After using stripe and square to process payments we have absolutely loved the simplified pricing structure that Fattmerchant uses
- Only paying interchange fees and a fixed monthly rate saves us $100's each month
- The integrations are weak
- We've had to build a few workarounds to get fattmerchant to work with our tech stack but it's been worth it

Go elsewhere and don't think twice about it. No advantages of using Stax.
I never initially signed up for Stax Payments as they bought out the company I initally signed up with. The other company, Payment Depot, had great service, super friendly and nice always. As stated, they never had anything that set themselves apart that you can't get at any other company. Their biggest thing I felt is how their customer service at Stax is not good at all, they don't care about you, especially at 10-year long customer at that. You are cattle as a customer here. Why join them? You don't really save any money any more compared to anyone else, so why join them? There is no advantage of being a customer of Stax Payments. Goto a company that will treat you right and really want to earn your business, which Stax doesn't try to earn, its almost like expected. Yuck. Shop around, they are a little cheaper and really not much cheaper than Square their biggest competitor and Square at least has all sorts of great analytics dashboards, great service, and they pay out a whole lot fast even same day payouts if you need! Go elsewhere, forget Stax. By the way I have no ties whatsoever to Square, just using them as an example of a better option and there are probably even better options than them, but all of them are better than Stax Payments.
Honestly, nothing really stood out because they didn't have any cool features that were different from any other processor
- Their payments took 3-5 days to clear, customer service is not that good, and they always found every way they could to increase my prices monthly
- They nickel and dime and don't go to bat for you

Excellent at first, then just okay...
Customer service is rarely necessary, but the few times we have needed assistance the results have been slow and frustrating responses.
Simplicity, issues are rare, price seemed reasonable at first but moved from an untouchable rate to merely competitive within a few years
- The flat monthly rate was very easy to understand, but the price just keeps jumping inexplicably year over year, more than double where it started five years ago
- Classic case of opening with a good deal then taking advantage later

Great Customer Service!

- Initially we were referred to Dejavoo and kept being disconnected, which was annoying

Heartland was too expensive and their customer service was not great. They used to have a rep on [sensitive content hidden] which was great, but they stopped that. Phone calls were difficult to make and response times were not good

Best Payment Processor I've used
Excellent experience overall. The system is simple to navigate and easy to learn. Super user friendly, and whenever a issue arises, their support staff handle it quickly and tactfully.

- It is quick and easy, and give customers a variety of way to submit payment
- Their support staff is also fantastic
- I get quick solutions and support and the techs are always friendly and knowledgeable
- Navigating the system is simple and it's easy to learn all the ways to utilize the system quickly
- The ability to invoice clients and email them directly is so convenient
- I have not had any cons thus far in my experience with Stax

Saturday service
We have been with Stax for ~8 years and it's been good. My only complaint is they have not updated system to integrate with auto matching payments to QB in 8 years....maybe needs a little more research/development.
Great customer service, I appreciate [sensitive content hidden] being available on a Saturday afternoon to assist me in getting into Cardx
- The thing I like least about Stax is that is does not integrate with Quickbooks by auto matching the transactions
- I have to go in manually every month and match them

Rate Reduction Assistance
Overall, I was able to get my rate reduced to where I need it to be as a small business owner and [sensitive content hidden] was very professional and helpful following up with me via phone as well as email to close the loop.
I've had invoicing questions for the last 6 weeks and was able to resolve them while working with [sensitive content hidden]
- I originally worked with Cole but the ticket got closed out and I wasn't able to resolve the issue while working with him directly
- So I had to call back in a few times and send multiple emails

- The follow up from customer support wasn't as great
- but this was all to do with the clover customer support, they tried to do their best
