Great Remote Access Tool
My experience with TeamViewer has been positive. It is easy to setup, reliable, and secure, making remote access simple and stress free. The connection quality is excellent and features are well thought out.
- I liked how easy it is to use TeamViewer even with people who are not tech-savy
- TeamViewer offers great value for money, helping save time and reduce travel cost
- I found easy and quick to share files with TeamViewer compare to the platform I used in the past
- TeamViewer is fast and reliable, but mobile phone support is pricey for occasional users
- A pay as you go option would make it much more appealing
Switched From
I switched from AnyDesk because I found TeamViewer more stable, with smoother connections and better overall performance.
Why they chose it
"I considered AnyDesk, Chrome Remote Desktop, and Splashtop. AnyDesk worked fine but felt less stable and polished compared to TeamViewer. I also felt comfortable with TeamViewer user interface which is kind of easy to use compare to others."

Still love it...
I've been with TV from their beginning and i loved it. Until they started to pack in it as many features as they could think about. It was a sleek, reliable tool, sitting in the corner somewhere and let me to connect with any resource just by double click on the name. IF (And it is a very big IF) I needed any details, i could call them up through 'Properties' Now it is a huge monster half-screen size with tons of unneeded information, icons and whatnot. To connect with something you need to go through the whole series of clicks and manipulations. I'm not even talking about totally unfamiliar look which you really need to learn. It seems all companies compete in changing their interfaces and poor users have to waste their time for learning a new interfaces of this program and that program instead of simply continue to work. And attempts to pack in a 1000 of features into one program is disastrous. Giving you a free idea - make a 'Light' version, just for remote control, as the initial version was - it will be sold by a landslide, I'll be the first in line. Not that I expect you to do that :)
- There are many good things to be said about TV
- I am with TV since their very first versions and it says something about its quality, given it never has been on cheap side
- I don't have to think about what to install - i always install a full client
- This allows me to log in to ANY computer with full client and work as from your own computer, all resources available, familiar workspace
- Means I can go to any location, find spare machine, log in and access any server or workstation/laptop
- Gives me an unmatched freedom and makes my life as an IT manager and life of my admins so much easier
- Also, Teamviewer is extremely reliable and connects through any firewalls with ease
- Interface
- The very first interface was slim, simple, logical and easy to use
- Took a little from screen space, could be moved somewhere in the corner
- Double click connected you to any machine
- Now it is heavy and huge monster with no logic whatsoever
- Hard to navigate
- Tons of unneeded details
- To do a simple thing requires to navigate to it through a pile of totally nonsensical icons and even after that you need to specifically choose what to do instead of simple double click on the name of the resource
- Chat window, taking a quarter of the screen
- Seriously
- I need chat only to ask a few quick questions; it is not my main area where my work is
- I seriously consider looking for alternative, especially having in mind that TV is very heavy priced, it is becoming a burden for our midsize business
Why they chose it
"Exceptional ease of use (initially), reliability, and a habit - I've been using it from their first versions."

A good program for remote acces on almost any platform
The free version offers a lot of features and a good experience overall, setting up for remote acces is easy and fast, remote control works well and it has some features to complement it. A really good option if you want to manage many devices hassle-free.
Setting up its fast and don't require any technical experience, the user interface is easy to learn and use (Before update), diagnostic feature is nice to have if you got limted acces to the devices you want to control
The new interface is complicated but you can still switch to the old one, premium version isn't friendly if you have less than 10 devices at least

The by-default choice for remote login
The overall experience is good from all points of view: my way of using it as Admin and as well as the customer usage who do not have to do much. It is very good to work with, in a team, and provides a time saving opportunity. File sharing and bug recognision is also a good thing, that helps debugging the cases that we have with our customers / colleagues.
- I believe that in the last five years or more, TeamViewer is for me the first choice to use in order to remotely connect to other PC and provide assistance, both in personal use mode (my mom, my dad
- ) as well as at work for customer support inside the company
- It is easy and intuitive
- The last version is quite complicated to use and you need a lot of time to install it in host mode on the PC
- Also you have to do some tests to be sure that all works fine
- And in the free licence mode, you are not allowed to have more than 3 PCs per account
- The value for money is great especially in the free version, even if it is limited to 3 accounts / email address
Switched From
It was a company policy, it is also related with the pricing and with the free licences. On a personal note, I did the change because of the many free options that TeamViewer offered.

I have been using TeamViewer for over 20 years, I have supported end users in India, St. Thomas, St. Croix, continental US, and Europe. I have had great success with the product that TeamViewer provides.
- TeamViewer is easy to use, and TeamViewer helps me provide quality support to my end uses
- I'm able to support my end users all across the globe, India, St
- Thomas, St
- Croix, continental US, and Europe
To be honest, as long as my end users have internet access I have nothing to dislike about TeamViewer
Why they chose it
"I had used TeamViewer on a previous job and found it to be much easier to install and use."

Review from 12+ year TeamViewer user
If it wasnt the price parameter it would definitly hold the first place. Considering pricing TeamViewer is between my 2 top options for remote support tool.
Ease of use, File sharing & transferring, Team collaboration, Support during working days (9-5), Security
- The price is not very competitive to other remote support tools
- Support cant be reached after 5pm
- Compatibility with older OSs like Win7 (on the installable version) can be tricky sometimes

Teamviewer for Alt72
All my customer can receive remote support instantly. I use the remote support for server and terminal in my customer
- Performance, easy to use, easy to deploy and use quick support solution
- The best ROI for the price
- The last version came with a new interface
- The first version had poor performance, but now it is corrected

Good softare for customer support
Verified reviewer
- file transfer
- The chat feature is very useful too
- I like the black screen feature that allows me to perform my work without the customer watching secret or confidential information
- Can't use in more computers, can only register 3 devices
- If a device fails or gets replaced, need to register another and have a very limited quantity
- This should be free
Why they chose it
"better price for the features, better choices of price/features for my needs"

Love Teamviewer
Overall, the product has always worked very well and have not had issues with it. Very reliable and can always count on it.
Very easy to quickly resolve issues with employees by jumping on their computer whenever they have an issue
- Not a fan of the new interface
- It would be nice if it defaulted to online devices only, so I wouldn't need to do it manually every time
Why they chose it
"Didn't like the way AnyDesk worked compared to TeamViewer."

Teamviewer reliability great
Excellent as a user for 15 years. But the new version is more difficult to use. Sorting devices is not available in all views.
- Reliability of connection to be access is always good
- Connections are fast regardless of the internet connection speed
- Interface is not as simple as it used to be
- It takes about 6 seconds connect to the main interface
- Listing of devices needs to be more flexible
Why they chose it
"Already had teamviewer host installed on clients. So easily upgraded."
