Great product for the Construction service industry.

It reduces our paperwork and and helps us put more to the bottom line with a better overall company efficiency.

Great for those ready to grow

Great customer service, great features, this team will do anything to help us learn and get where we want to go.

What they liked
  • I like that they continually add new features and make the system better
  • I can use it on a basic level or if I take the time to setup everything the amount of things it will track and the amount of insights it gives me on my business is crazy
Room for improvement

With any system there is a learning curve and sometimes I want the system to do it the way we already do things but then again we don't like our results doing it that way

Hearth was bad, support was bad. Housecall Pro is kinda like a beginner program. It's fairly easy but doesn't do everything.

Not well rounded

If it was not for [sensitive content hidden] at TG and the amount of time invested in making this software work for us. We would not still be using this software.

What they liked
  • The ability to be anywhere and run the business
  • Scheduling, Dispatching, Calendar, Texting jobs to Techs and when we are arriving to customers
  • It works really great on the front end and for the techs in the field
Room for improvement
  • TG does not integrates with desktop as claimed
  • It was such a nightmare we had to convert to QBO
  • TG doesn't offer true progress billing for contractors/subcontractors
  • It also does have the ability to correctly categorize a customer deposit without a lot of manual work on the QBO side or a workaround
  • Reporting to tie out to QBO is terrible
  • I have not found a single report in TG that ties out to any financial report in QBO
  • It needs a lot more work invested in the development of the backend/reporting end
  • Customer service takes too long to get back to you
  • When they do finally get back to you their answers are unhelpful and you end up understanding the software better than they do

Loving it so far

Excellent

What they liked
  • I am new to Thermogrid and still in the training phase
  • Whenever I have a question, the team is quick to respond to jump on a call to help me with my doubts

  • I love the features so far
  • Even though I haven't started using all the features, but I love that almost everything I need for my business is available as a feature and will help my work get so much more efficient
Room for improvement
  • Nothing so far except maybe the fact that the learning curve is a bit high due to multiple features
  • But that is a good problem to have, it means I can move all my business needs to Thermogrid
  • Finally one platform for all my needs instead of having to use multiple different softwares

Thermogrid Review

TG is the first dispatching system that I have worked with, I am not sure how it compares or what benefit I see. What I appreciate most is that willingness to take feedback and make adjustments.

What they liked
  • payment integration that allows the client, the tech and the admin to complete payment transactions from the invoice
  • development team is open to suggestions on improving the system
Room for improvement
  • Job documents are not integrated to be electronically signed and do not auto save, so the info can be easily lost if it is not saved properly prior to changing screens
  • We are now having to use a secondary app to complete safety documents and inspections so that they can be signed by technicians for accountability and to meet SECOR standards
  • Clients can only pay using VISA or Mastercard through the payment link
  • TG only tracks GPS for clock-in and out, we would like to track "downtime" between calls for technician accountability
  • calling the support line used to automatically connect me with a support tech, now I have to submit a ticket and wait to hear back

The switch was made prior to my starting with the company. I believe it is because TG was built by someone who worked in the HVAC industry and built it from that perspective.

Been working with Thermo since day one and the company. It’s been fairly easy to learn and maneuver through when their are no glitches and good service area

It works great when you have service it is easy to use and learn even if your not a computer tech person

Drop boxes disappear and are under laying When you go back in calendar two weeks it doesn’t stay there after you exit out of a call

A decent software that works well once ALL of your company data is entered CORRECTLY!

There is definitely a higher learning curve for employees to get over. When people are in a rush it is easy to make simple errors and those simple errors slow down the efficiency of our workflow. I'm very happy with the approach the company has taken to customize the platform to fit the needs of our company AND our customers.

What they liked
  • ThermoGRID is perfect for our short-term needs
  • We love the fact that staff finds it simple to use
  • However, paying attention to the fine details when data is put into our software library is an ongoing struggle
  • It is definitely a time-saver for us because it has the capability of carrying out complex tasks and has enabled us to be completely paperless

  • We are still adjusting to the set-up, none at this time

we have the ability to load calculations on the program, do monthly subscription for club agreements, one flat rate for all credit cards including American Express. Most of all you can buy the software out-wright without having to pay a monthly fee.

Dissapointing and Expensive experience

Be careful to engange in a one year term contract, the is no return, and they will push you a lot to make a decision.

  • Nothing to comment about the software
  • Training team is NICE
Room for improvement
  • The system is rough and not easey to use
  • The mobile app is not ready, they just told me that the first day I started implementation
  • Selling team shows you whatever you want to see, and describes as the soft can do all you want to do
  • That starts to fall apart as soon as you start your first training, and nothing is just like is supposed
  • But you already signed a one yar contract with them, so you need to pay for it anyway
  • They don't care if you use it or not
