Trello - Still My Favorite CRM
Out of all of the CRMs I've used, I really do enjoy Trello the most. It keeps me organized, I love the theme, and as I learn how to integrate other software, it gets better.
- I still love the light-hearted and colorful display
- It reminds me to have a little fun while working
I'm still not the best at figuring out 3rd party integrations which has held me back a little bit with Trello but I'm learning
Switched From
I was confused by EngageBay's software. Trello was very easy to use in comparison.

Good deal for managing daily tasks
Verified reviewer
- Super free work management tool for having everything clear in one place
- Before Trello, I was drowning in random reminders and gotten sticky notes
- Trello features are also a life saver; they are easy to use
- One time a board accidentally went public after it was shared, even though I did set up the right permission
- It wasn't a huge deal, but all my private content was available for free
Switched From
Whether it's Sheets or Excel, none of these software allows task tracking or Kanban view.

Good for simple task management
Computer Software
- Its simplicity of use, everyone can understand it in a few minutes
- Very simple to setup rather than other similar tools
I would like to have templates to speed up your work and other features that are available in competitors

Keeps our team moving without overcomplicating things
We use Trello every day to track jobs, bids, and follow-ups. It’s simple enough that nobody resists using it, but flexible enough that we’ve built boards for estimating, project management, and sales. For a growing shop like ours, that balance of structure + ease has been critical.
- New hires understand it within minutes, and the visual layout makes it easy to see bottlenecks at a glance
- It also plays nicely with Gmail, n8n, and QuickBooks, so we’ve been able to automate a lot of repetitive steps without needing heavy IT support
Reporting feels limited unless you start adding Power-Ups, and once you’re looking for more advanced automation or dashboards, it can feel a little basic
Why they chose it
"We chose Trello because it was simpler to adopt, easier for the team to actually use day-to-day, and flexible enough to build our own workflows without the extra complexity and cost of Asana or Monday.com"

One of the easiest interfaces to get used to
I've used Trello in multiple organisations. It has always been one of the contenders, and it's been one that non-technical staff have adapted to easily.
- Trello has to have one of the easiest interfaces to adopt when you delve into the realm of project management
- It's ability to display tasks and their progress through a project life cycle is impressive
- The fact that is offers a free solution is impressive
- The paid plans are also very well priced
- There wouldn't be much to dislike in all honesty
- If anything, it may not be as advanced in features as some would like
- But as a starting point in project management, it's hard to beat
Why they chose it
"At the time, Trello was chosen over Jira. This was because of its far superior interface."

Why the change?
I used to love it and it supported and made my and my colleagues life so much easier but since the last update we all use it less
- It’s so visual and simple
- Moving cards feels just like sticky notes on a wall
- It’s perfect for seeing the status of a design project fast, and it’s easy for the whole team to use
- Reporting and viewing timelines is limited on the free plan and the last update made me completely stop using it
- I cannot see the list of all my projects at once, terrible

A fab bit if software you didnt kniw you needed til you use it
Very user friendly. No training needed. It nakes our day to day work easy to layout especially when working individually away from colleagues.
- We use the free package which has everything we need so its great value for money
- Very easy to use and set up
- We use it to track day to day tasks and individual projects can be shared amongst staff and clients so tasks dont get missed
- The drag and drop is a great feature is ideal to see at what stage each task is
- The abillity to colour code and add files/images to each task helps us keep all our orojects in one place
- For what we use, there are no cons
- It meets all our needs
- Not sure what other benefits there ate to the software so maybe some promotional trials of extra features would be useful

organizing your life and work
i've had a great experience with trello within my work projects and also my personal projects, it helps me keep everything organized, i get visual alerts for tasks due. I can use it seamlessly with my google account as well.
- The UX of trello is on point, it is very intuitive to use
- It is a great tool that helps organize projects, products, events, and keep people on the same page and track their tasks and due dates
- I love that it also offers templates from the community
- it's great for new teams that don't know with tool to chose
- it's simple, to the point and visual
It has integrations with other tools but if you're looking to collaborate on images or doodles for each card/task you cannot do it within trello

Simple and less complicated project management
It is a great too when teams are not very big , and you want to get your work organised without complicating things. But not a very good fit for large and complex projects.
- It is a nice and simple project management tool, dashboard visuals are nice and easy to understand
- Board set up dont take too long and you can start working with team quite fast
- Trello has its limits and not a good fit for the big projects
- when you generate performance reports for the project , it doesnt go much in details also automations are not advanced if you're not paying for premium

Organization at its finest
Overall, it helps you stay on task and organized. I liked how the flow went and there are reminders to help
- I loved how organized it helps you to be
- I used this in different facets of my work and even personal life
- Not much - Limitations on background photos
- I would love if you could upload your own photo as motivation
