Exceptional Service!
We recently had the pleasure of working with [sensitive content hidden] at vFairs for the National Philoptochos 2024 Convention, and we couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From start to finish, the technology available met all our needs seamlessly, ensuring our event ran smoothly. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding customer service provided by [sensitive content hidden]. She was consistently available, incredibly responsive, and went above and beyond to address all our needs. Her dedication and professionalism were evident in every interaction, and her support was invaluable to the success of our convention. - Although we had a fabulous project manager who did everything, we did need to reach out to her every time, as the backend was not easy to navigate without detailed instructions
- While we appreciate having a project manager, having an overview training session on each feature would have been nice
- This way, the project manager wouldn't always depend on our timeline
- As a small staff, it's sometimes easier to do a few things independently and then have the team edit
- Additionally, our daily schedule was put in as sessions instead of an agenda
- We needed to be able to scan our attendees in only once per day, and it was hard at the event to find the correct session daily
- Each aspect of vFairs was customizable, which is great; as I said, we have a small office, so for certain features, it would have been nice to have templates to choose from or be advised ahead of time that because each aspect is customizable and needs to be built out, requires specific attention and a certain amount of time
- Hence, a needs list for all features with a timeline for implementation
- I would have planned better if I understood it better

Great product, great service - select your Live Streaming service wisely
Always very friendly and helpful staff. Issued a dedicated account manager, [sensitive content hidden], who walked us through every step of the system from beginning to end. When questions came up that required more technical assistance, she would schedule meetings with specialists in the software. We also enjoyed the look and feel of both the online platform and the mobile app.

- Some of the basic reporting we wanted from the system had to have custom reports created or couldn't provide all the info we wanted in 1 report
- We had 2 options for Live Streaming services we could use through vFairs for our event, and we were guided to use one that couldn't give us the features we needed

Experience working with [sensitive content hidden] was a 10/10 Experience with the rest of vFairs (platform, user experience, capabilities, ease of use, etc.) 5.5/10 Due to the reasons I listed above, and more, I think there are better virtual conference solutions out there that are comparable in price. We don't plan to continue with virtual conferences (we're hoping to move entirely in-person), but if we ever need to again, we will probably consider another vendor. This platform is just too limited and there's no way anyone could set this up on their own without vFairs being heavily involved. Even changing a sentence on a page often had to go through vFairs instead of just being a quick 2 min change we could do ourselves. It was not what I expected and quite frankly was not what was "sold" to us in the beginning. I feel like [sensitive content hidden] oversold us on many things that never came to fruition. However, please do not let this review reflect negatively on [sensitive content hidden]. She was wonderful!

- There were several things we weren't happy about

- We were demoed many features that weren't included in our contract both before and after we signed the contract - scavenger hunt, photo booth, etc

- We had issues using vFairs to send marketing emails to registrants in 2023, but were told the issues had all been resolved and the system was upgraded since then
- However, we had several issues this time too
- The scheduling feature didn't work and our emails didn't go out - had to go in and manually send them much later once we realized they didn't go out
- Our last email to attendees double sent, which I was told was due to "the email being processed by 2 cron jobs at the same time"
- Just makes us as an organization look silly for sending two emails back to back - looked like our error

- The back end was the least user friend of all the vendors we explored
- Many things we wanted to do had to be done by putting in a request for vFairs to do it instead of us just quickly going in and doing it ourselves
- Much of it seemed to be suitable for a developer to update and not the average customer, which was disappointing

This was my first time being on the ground floor of choosing an event management platform. I didn't know what to expect, but from what my colleagues have described, the support we got from vFairs was remarkable.
- The value for the cost of vFairs was extraordinary
- Additionally, the support team response time and helpfulness a huge recommending factor
- Our guests enjoyed the app, and we appreciated all the function, and the back-end analytics
- The process of networking our printer to the app was frustrating
- That may have been complicated by our network set up, but it took two long set up Zooms
- Again, though, the support team was patient and willing to give us a lot of time

As a team we were not happy with our Whova experience; and went looking for an alternative.

LOVE LOVE LOVE vFairs
We loved our experience so much that I referred the vFairs team over to colleagues at DSG who execute other events and they are currently locking down an agreement for 7 events!
Highly attentive, responsive and always willing to give as much time as we needed to achieve the desired outcomes
We did not have any true cons other than an initial struggle to log in on the backend to make edits on our own

Reliable, customisable & gets the job done and more!
I am delighted with my Vfairs experience thus far. Our event websites have definitely upgraded from our previous supplier and have a much more professional look and feel.
I like that they have proactive hands-on customer support, speedy response times, and the customisation ability
It can be complicated for those without an IT background, but the team is always happy to support, and it can be made more simple

- Having a dedicated project manager who knows the event well and what your company are wanting to achieve is excellent, as it is so important to have one dedicated person and not "go round the houses" each time you need to discuss an aspect of the event

Excelent product and customer experience!
