Trying to decide? VMP...Get it and Forget It.
Best experience. The company is easy to purchase from, they answer your emails and provide solution to your problems.
- Easy to use, with onboard guide
- This software works as well as some of the most expensive programs plus it has image editing features built in, tons of fonts and I haven't found anything that can't be done with this ONE software program
- I have used this software for several years and I love it
- Before VinylMaster, I had multiple programs installed
- One for vector art, one to import and edit images, another to import and edit images, because the other lacked certain features
- Ugh
- Very frustrating
- One Program
- Vinyl master
- GET IT and Forget it
- This will do everything you need at a price you can't complain about
- Sometimes, I get an unexpected error or not responding message, I really don't think it's the programs fault
- I can sometimes have up to 10 files open and working at the same time
- The software program can only handle so much and I push it to its limit
- I still wouldn't trade it for others
Switched From
Replaced Flexisign. I can upload one software program to replace 3 or 4 others, saving more memory for artwork and designs and I can get rid of the dongle key!
Why they chose it
"I compare features, cost, ease of use and reviews. VinylMaster was hands down, the best option."

VINYLMASTER FOR ALL
Always had great experience with Vinylmaster, I have had the LTR version for 15yrs and more recently the XPT version for 12mnths.VIN
Simplicity of use, very user friendly and easy to learn especially when watching the video training lessons online
- The soft shadow tool prints with a banding look, not a true gradient look, but you can overcome this by converting the graphic to a jpeg or tiff then it will print nicely
- it is somewhat annoying to have to do this every time
Switched From
Adobe became subscription only, but I prefer to have outright ownership of my programs.
Why they chose it
"Vinylmaster was better value for money and easier to learn how to use."

Essential software for signmakers
can't do without it, but have spent a lot of money on upgrades recently in the hope that it would fix bugs but this is not the case, it still hangs/ crashes a lot. great when it is working
- Easy to use and has built-in tools that simplify the process
- crashed a lot, colour control is not as good as Adobe

It works exactly how you want it to.
The programme has been a good replacement for Gerber Omega, and is a better price point aswell. Simple to use and easy to learn. A cost effective program for any hobbyist or sign shop.
- The software is easy to install & setup, and the preloaded drivers for cutters and printers are a great addition
- The vectoriser is also a very useful tool, making common logos easy to get and work with
Some minor bugs and system can crash from time to time, however the auto save works well so it’s just a mild inconvenience having to reload and open the file back up
Switched From
Gerber omega - File issues and lack of support. Upgrade pricing was also high, and compatibility issues between versions.
Why they chose it
"Cost and user friendly interface was a major consideration l"

polyVISUAL review for Vinylmaster
Ive had the same version of XPT for several years and never felt the urgency to upgrade as it does everything I need.
- The huge file conversion ability for imports and the true V2000
- dxf export function
- We use old Autocad software, and it is seamless to import there
- Epson print drivers available
- I'm forced to use other RIP software
Switched From
Corels export of .dxf was not compatible at the time. I sent a sample file to Future Corp for conversion, once confirmed it worked to our liking, we purchased VM XPT

Efficient and Fun Vinyl Cutting for Busy Students
Overall, I’m very impressed with Vinyl Master, especially for my school projects. With my busy schedule, I don’t have much time to learn new tools, but Vinyl Master made it easy to quickly create perf and cut lines with fun fonts, making my projects enjoyable.
- As a lifelong fan of Adobe Illustrator, I needed a reliable solution for cutting vinyl for my school projects and chose Vinyl Master
- I was pleasantly surprised by how seamlessly it processed my Adobe files, making it incredibly easy to create and build cut lines, even for my Roland machines
- The software’s image-to-vector tool is also a standout feature, providing excellent results that save me time and effort
- Overall, Vinyl Master has proven to be an invaluable tool for integrating my design work into vinyl cutting projects
- There was a bit of a learning curve to get the software performing at 100%, but the provided video tutorials made it much easier to get up to speed quickly
- Once I learned the tools, the workflow became smooth and efficient
- I especially like the cut, divide, merge ability of objects
Switched From
I switched mainly due to cost. With a limited budget, even the student rates for Adobe software were expensive, so VinylMaster offered a more affordable alternative without sacrificing functionality.

The Best Sign Making Software Period!
I have both SignMaster and VinylMaster licenses as I started with SignMaster but ended up purchasing Vinyl Master for it's ability to work with many different cutters. VinylMaster has replaced about 3 different programs that I would use for sign and t-shirt making.
- The ease of use and the ton of features
- The tracing ability of the program is unmatched in it's ease of use and accuracy
- The only thing that I don't like about the program is I wish there was a Linux Version
- I have to run the software in a Windows VM as I don't run Windows on my daily driver machine
- I'm fine with running it that way but that's the only thing I can think of that I like the least about
Switched From
Upgraded from SignMaster to be able to utilize all the cutters I have from different manfucaturers including my Silhouette Cameo cutters
Why they chose it
"The familiarity of use coming from being a SignMaster user"

Sticky Business
Overall I am very satisfied. I've been using VinylMaster since 2010. This software has allowed me to work from home full time.
Ease of use, the video tutorials, and ability to cut without exporting to a cut manager
- Cannot preview text in the drop down without opening font manager
- I have one unresolved issue that I haven't worked out with the spooler
- Frequently my outline cuts for text, even when converted to a curve, are slightly different in length than the text
- Years ago Vinylmaster did a test and said it's the plotter
- [sensitive content hidden] had me do a test and they said it's the software
- It's carried over through several upgrades and updates, but it doesn't do it every time
- I have a work around so I live with it
Why they chose it
"I liked the user interface. I like that it's all in one and the tutorials."

Only The Best
As a veteran user with over 15+ years of experience with VM, I can confidently say there's no other software that suits my needs better. The consistent updates and robust features have kept my projects running smoothly, and it's been a reliable tool that has grown with my evolving design requirements.
- Everything, the best on the market, I switched to VM 15+ years ago and it keeps getting better and better
- if you want something that works then its VM
- it's challenging to pinpoint any significant downsides given how reliably VM performs, if I had to mention one, it would be the occasional hiccups when printing directly to smaller printers
- This is a minor issue, however, and hardly detracts from the overall exceptional functionality of the software

Make the Switch! VM is the Real Deal!
I have not had a single problem getting it to do what I ask of it yet, six years so far. I switched to VM for that very reason, The software that I was using focused on how many options it had versus how well the options work. I will never go back.
- The flexibility of the software is amazing
- It does everything you need it to, without fail
- Well, almost none so far
- My only issue if any, would be giving users the ability to size/scale the UI so that we could adjust it ourselves
- To be honest, it probably will do that, I just haven't figured out how yet
Switched From
SAI FlexiSIGN is not an option on your dropdown list. That is what I switched from. Flexi was getting entirely too glitchy with each new update and release. On top of that, it would take me a good two months of work just recoup the cost. (Not Cool)
