It also offers multiple failover options, call hunting, time conditions and speed dialing. VoIP.ms provides sequencing, which allows businesses to create specific scenarios by combining recordings, DTMF and SMS options. The configurable voice response system helps users create numeric extensions for callers to reach the required parties, which can be managed from a single interface. WIth VoIP.ms, users can also create unique groups according to requirements such as work, family or friends, which can be filtered to be redirected to specific destinations.

Very good service for a good price

Overall my experience with VoIP.ms has been good. Their products do pretty much anything a small business needs without necessarily needing to have a full PBX onsite or in the cloud. It works well.

What they liked
  • I like how easy it is to procure a new DID / Local Number
  • They often have numbers in stock for my rural location or they can procure one within a few days
  • It is also much cheaper to purchase a DID from here than other competitors
Room for improvement
  • Their documentation is often a bit lacking or out of date
  • It's not usually a huge problem but it does create some frustration at times

Best VOIP Provider Out There

Set voicemail message to change from open to closed. Create transcription for voice mails.

  • The web interface is powerful and makes it easy to set up what I want to set up
  • The voice quality is excellent, and I never have a connection problem
  • I also love the automatic voicemail call transcription feature

  • About a year ago there was a DOS attack on the system that caused an interruption in service

Best platform I've found!

Great overall experience - support is amazing - makes sure it works, knows how to fix whatever you've done wrong and make things work in moments. Uptime is phenomenal.

What they liked

It's a cut and dry VoIP service that provides exactly what I need, how I need without burdensome interfaces

Room for improvement

Needs a little more public info on new features with clear pricing such as virtual PRI's where you can figure it out yourself without having to contact sales

RingCentral was overpriced, bureaucratic, had terms and - while good for a 1 person startup - becomes expensive as you grow

Viop.ms Benefits

Perfect fit for my home, and office, even for my customer. Well document configuration manual. and lots of feature right off the provider side, I have a few customer that just needs a conditional forwarder, and I was able to set it up right from Voip.ms no need for PBX.

What they liked
  • The part that I liked the most about this software is the reselling portal, just make it so easy to setup a new account and start belling them for their usage
  • All the basic feature are there for setup a call forward or a fail-over is the PBX goes down
  • super low rate
  • as low as 0
  • 009 per minute
Room for improvement
  • Only offer pay per use on outbound call
  • not such a big deal since their rate are so low

My old Provider was not offering any PBX support, and 20$ a month for a home phone that I barely use was too much. Special with the lake of feature.

General experience has been great. Our telephone spend is less than 10% of what it was with traditional phone service providers.

What they liked
  • If you know what you are doing this offers great value for money
  • An initial challenge is working out the per minute pricing model for voip services
  • However, it is invariably way cheaper than any other phone model
Room for improvement
  • Definitely this system is NOT for the technically 'faint of heart'
  • You need to get your hands dirty but once you do, no problem

Move to voip was the initial driving factor. Initially tried Vonage but this system provided more enhanced features and control.

Fantastic Support

Its the best support experience I have ever had with a carrier

  • Support is really really responsive and top notch
  • Even when I had a complicated issue with a specific international number they were able to re-route traffic to make it work within minutes
  • Other carriers this would have taken days and days

  • Some of the calling rates to europe are not great
