Does the job it's suppose to do!
I'm using YArooms to juggle with 3 meeting rooms in our co-working space, especially helpful when you have limited hardware access and now we know to which room the projector/tv/etc is allocated.
It helps us manage 3 meeting rooms in our co-working space and helps us share hardware resources
- It's packed with features, sometimes overwhelming the UI

Works well
Has the required functionality to book rooms/seats and reasonably easy to use; I don't know if it integrates with outlook (it isn't at our org) but that would be useful
- Reasonably intuitive, allows for efficiencies such as booking multiple days in a row with one booking
- Its good to be able to see who is booked where, when
- I ran into trouble cancelling/deleting a booking
- I couldn't figure out how, and I was confused because on the page I was trying to delete the booking, the button the 'cancel' the booking looked like a button the 'cancel' out of the page - I normally can figure out most software but this actually stymied me as it had no tool tips or further guidance on the page
- so i just kept trying to figure out how to do it 'edit' mode
- funny now, but supremely frustrating at the time
- I would rename cancel to 'Delete' (since in hindsight, that is why you have the trashcash icon there)
- The word cancel shown in a button, next to an edit button, means something different in most software so that part is NOT intuitive :-)

Pros & Cons YAROOMS
Overall YAROOMS is a nice to have tool and does what it needs to do for me. Until now it always did its job and I do not have anything to say against about functionality. But I do think, it could be improved in terms of convenience and desgin.
- I like the map functionality in general and the overview it gives with the colour indicators
- The processes are easy to understand
- There were few ocassions were I wanted to look at the availability from a day before on the map, to easily check which office/space was occupied or which space I had booked
- Unfortunately this is not possible
- Also sometimes I get the feeling the UI overlay is a bit "clumsy" - choosing the correct floor and date could become more convenient/easier
- Buttons to click could be bigger

- Options for booking (Map or time based) so you can have a flexible booking based on availability

Great for co-working spaces and large teams!
It’s been great so far! It can be a little competitive to book popular lab resources but being able to plan ahead your day looking at the bookings among coworkers and other teams is so helpful!
- I love how easy it is to see how busy the workplace is going to be with the occupancy percentage and the timeline which gives me a preview of the day ahead
- It reduces redundant conversations with my coworkers about what they’ll be working on or at what time
- I also find the pick and drag function on the laptop very convenient
- On the mobile app version, sometimes I see times that are in red for “already booked by someone else” which makes it easier to determine when I can make my bookings
- The mobile app stills need a little work
- There’s a pop-up to turn on notifications every time I open it, which is somewhat irritating as the notifications are many and often (check-in, check-out, reminders
- There’s a resource I can only book for 2hrs at a time but sometimes I need to book it multiple times a day so it would be non-stop notifications if I had it on
- I would also appreciate being able to view the timeline in the app

Easy and quick booking

- It's an easy and quick booking system
- I love how there are photos attached to the room, which allows me to visualize the space before I book it
- I also appreciate that the booking is automatically assigned to my Outlook calendar
- That makes it easy for colleagues to find me if they want to chat in person
- The "Find a Space" feature didn't always work for me
- Not sure why
- Maybe I was doing something wrong

A game-changer for office life
Considering my company went from having no booking system in place to implementing YAROOMS, it has been a game-changer. It brings structure and order to an aspect of office life that desperately needs it.
- It's super user-friendly
- The booking system is straightforward to use
- The "blueprints" of the bookable room layouts are accurate
- The confirmation emails and Microsoft Teams calendar sync are great
- When my company initially adopted it, the system required users to double-confirm their bookings via email, which was annoying
- We have since dropped this setting, and it has made for a much better experience

Positive Yarooms experience
It has been a positive experience, easy to use and see who is in the office and where they are sitting.
I find the Yarooms easy to use, you can clearly see what desks are booked and I like the reminder functionality
Not always easy to use on the go, in regards the mobile application, so some functionality to improve this would be beneficial
