About Avaza

Avaza is a business management solution which includes features for project management, resource scheduling, online timesheets, expense management, online invoicing, recurring invoicing, quotes and invoices and more. Avaza also integrates with third-party platforms to manage workflows. Avaza is an integrated cloud solution for professional services companies and is supported on tablets and mobile devices. Users can run their entire client-focused business in Avaza, allowing them to run projects with support for resource management, project and task tracking, time and expense management, quoting, invoices and online payments. The platform offers online project collaboration with clients and allows users to drag and drop tasks and files as needed. Tasks can be viewed in list view, Kanban boards or on Gantt charts. Avaza offers time and expense tracking, as well as online payments directly from invoices. Users can generate reports on metrics such as estimates by status, financial transactions, expenses by customer and more, in order to provide business insight.

The Best Tool for Time-Based Service Agencies Out There!

I suppose a really great added feature / a missing feature is an Asana / Trello type thing where it's just easier to make the tasks accessible in one place

Avaza Team for President!

I have ONLY ever gotten quick responses and very helpful answers. They go above and beyond! During a time when things went really wrong, the team really pulled together and showed me their depth of kindness. And this is why I've come back. I'm so happy I get to use Avaza again and that I get to see what an amazing team is.

Avaza is actually fantastic

We're a service company with people spread out all over North America. Billing used to be a hassle before Avaza, but now it's far easier. Our team members enter their timesheets into Avaza and our finance team creates the billing twice a month. We've more than tripled our line items for billing and are spending about half as much time as before in getting our bills to customers. Customer support has also been fantastic, and open to our suggestions for new features. When they do roll out a new feature, it just works.

  • It would be great if it had a way to email directly into and out of tasks

Great tool for my Small Business

Overall, it's positive. It helped increase efficiency, team collaboration, keep track of all projects on the go + their status. Admin is a lot easier inside the tool, meaning fewer things get omitted.

Useful Time Tracking Tool

Powerful tracking and reporting tool which helps track team performance and project delivery. Improvement needed for team management functionality at a high level such as output recording and live view of team time tracking.

  • The ability to breakdown projects into tasks and run comprehensive reports
  • The report function is powerful and allows drilling down to user or task
Room for improvement
  • The dashboard function is good individually but we need this for the whole team
  • To see my team status (hours and billable hours logged for a given period) I need to run a report which is time consuming
  • The scheduling function is clunky and does not seamlessly sync with Outlook and does not automatically update based on time recorded against the project or updating for project delays

Avaza is the best!

I have tried about 10 different task management and project management tools over the years. And this one by far is the best easiest to use and has the absolute best support of any software that I currently pay for. The staff is always a pleasure to work with and solves problems quickly with usually within minutes or hours. I think a vaza is the absolute best tool, especially for a small business.

Avaza allows us to create reports saving us time and keeping us on task

From onboarding to now using for a couple of years, Avaza has been very easy to use. Support is great, which is always a plus for me.

  • Avaza is great for being able to export your tasks and import into our client monthly report instead of having to type manually
  • Great for workflow management and keeping up on assigned tasks

  • So far we are very happy with Avaza
  • As an administrator it is nice to add company holidays and a field for PTO so co-workers can schedule tasks

Nice and easy product for Timesheet

Overall, Avaza is a very nice and easy-to-use product that has been part of our organization for the last 3–4 years.

What they liked
  • Ease of use
  • Avaza is very easy to configure and use
  • Even our users who were having very difficult to use our earlier project management tool now using this tool with smile
Room for improvement
  • What we liked least about Avaza is the limitation in timesheet control
  • There is no way to freeze or lock timesheets from being automatically approved
  • Once the dashboard is taken out, the timesheets get approved without our intended review or intervention

  • Occasionally I will have a desire for a feature that does not exist and will send a request to customer support
  • Some have been implemented and others not
  • I think the reports could be expanded and improved a bit

I have used Avaza for over 6 years and it has helped to run and manage my business. It is simple to use, and I would recommend it to any business seeking for an easy tool for time, money and project management.

  • Time sheet and project reports are informative for tracking hours and managing overall project costs
  • Avaza allows for good client management by tracking hours, recording payments and moving to archives when project is complete
  • Customer support is very helpful
  • When I encountered a couple of issues, each time customer support was quick to respond and resolve the issue
