BQE Core, a great product!
Been great, when there is an issue, the BQE Core team goes out of there way to fix it.
Simplifies Invoicing and Billing and enhances Project Management over Time Keeping
Implementation was a challenge primarily due to QBO, but sales expectations were different from reality
Switched From
QBO is an inferior product and does not meet the needs of a professional service organization.

Excellent Software
Excellent - their people know the product, when you call with an issue you SPEAK to someone who is knowledgeable. They answer the phone which is such a great thing
- The ability to speak to someone who knows the software when an issue arises
- Honestly I don't have an issue with it at all
- We got the product BillQuick first and then went online to Core, which was a blessing because a couple of months later the pandemic hit and we were all homebound

Invoices were illegible and clients complained - having several people in the field with time and expenses QB's is not made for that. BQE Core is and the invoices are so easy to understand

Lots of features, includes an API
Overall, my experience was good. It's a comprehensive suite of software, not lacking much. It can be buggy at times, but there's definitely workarounds that can be done. Additionally, the inclusion of an API is a major selling point over competitors.
- I like how everything has many ways to accomplish the same thing
- Not stingy on features
Sometimes it can be laggy and require a couple refreshes prior to actual timecard submission

BQE Review
I switched to this system after using another finance system for 18 years and it was an easy interface and allowed for minimal training so even our entry level staff picked it up quickly.
- The ability to run multiple reports and drop them into excel
I wish we could save multiple filters for the T&E reviewer since I use that the majority of the time

its been very positive, lots of options and it tracks everything and helps us create documents for all aspects of our operation
- The options and amount of things that the program can do
i wish it was a little more intuitive, once you learn it then its not a real issue,

Effective, Accessible Tool
I've had a good experience with Core, and I appreciate the at-a-glance history that I can review as soon as I log in.
- I like that Core is available wherever I need it, at the office or from my home if there's something I need to add or adjust
- I like that I can edit entries quickly all from a keyboard
I have not had any issues with CORE, and certainly none that would keep me from using it
