allows for more accomplished work
It allows me to have order and coordination in all my work, using this platform I do not have to move to others causing confusion
- It is a platform with multiple very nice functions for my work that benefit me in monitoring and planning, its system is very easy to use and that has allowed me to have a more professional development in my area by presenting projects in the estimated times with on-time monitoring real where I can have control of the evolution and update
- and also helps me with the coordination of schedules, shifts and total hours worked
It has been completely to my liking and there are no bad dislikes or bad flaws, I like everything and I feel happy using it

Deputy - a solid scheduling and timekeeping platform.
I used it operationally for a few years and found it easy and functional. Its very easy to make basic changes to scheduling and do timesheet approvals from a phone.
- Detailed functionality makes it ideal for most aspects of managing staff scheduling, timekeeping, and outputting to payroll
- Easy to use by employees
- Once in a while, employees would have issues with the app, but this would be temporary, possibly to do with connectivity on the devices
- Its not the cheapest option if you have a lot of staff doing few hours, as its a per user subscription I think

Accessible and Easy Use
I can be on the go and document what I am doing and show that I am on location if needed. It helps me keep track of what clients I met when, and is especially helpful when writing reports and dates are needed.
- I liked that my coworker who was blind could easily navigate the app using her iphone and text-to-speech
- I also like that I can look back at dates and see I did that day, as well as my hours total count for the week
- The hours total count is a change that I requested to the app and the updated showed in a reasonable amount of time
- The design is easy to use with the iphone app, and I like that the categories can be designed to fit your business tasks for streamlined documentation of how much time is spent doing a certain task
- Also, you can put notes to detail what you were doing during that time period which is crucial for staff that are changing tasks all day
Sometimes the app will glitch when putting in an end time and after changing the end time from the current time it will default several times back to the current time instead of the end time you want

I itially ok but we outgrew it
Initially Deputy met our busi ess needs but as we grey it could not keep up necessitating us to switch providers.
Super easy interface for employees to use but feature add did not keep up with competitors in the market considering the price point
- Integration with Xero was limiting to ensure payrol was run correctly without errors
- Sometimes very slow to load

My overall experience is very positive and our bussines has now been using it for a while and will continue to use in the future

- very easy for all my crew to use each day
- love the pin drops so you can see where crew are clocking on and off
- nothing, it is really easy for everyone to use and simply but yet great design
- love it can say a bad thing about it

Great for scheduling but limited
Deputy is easy to use, you can cut/paste schedules, it has a cost analysis and easily integrates into an number of payroll systems. Would love if they built out the platform more though so they had chat etc.
- Easy to schedule, people can confirm shifts, shows cost analysis
- Limited functionality - We use it for scheduling only
- Although I see the have a new HR function
- Other systems like Connecteam have more functions and are generally cheaper

DONT BOTHER
Ive used Deputy for almost as long as it has been around, and the customer services is absolutely disgraceful these days, you cant get support for account finance issues during weekends, and if you run a business that requires you access during the weekend tough shit.
- NOTHING AT ALL, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DISGRACEFUL
- Customer Service is disgraceful, would not bother

Wonderful! I would absolutely recommend it for companies with small pools of employees.
- The month view of the schedule - as well as the easy ability to spot open shifts
Unfortunately, the financial commitment to utilize Deputy was beyond our price point

Payroll in Deputy
Very straight forward when approving timesheets.
- "Import Scheduled Details" in the "Approve Timesheet" section
All the leaves will disappear from the timesheets if you choose by team when approve timesheet
