Top-Tier Safety Management System – Highly Recommend!

Misleading
We saved around $5,000 a year by switching to another platform. There are quite a few platforms much more oriented toward smaller companies.
The training catalog was extensive, however not on the list of OSHA approved online trainings for any of the big packages (OSHA-10 and 30, HAZWOPER, MSHA pt 46, etc)
- The customer service team members were not all on the same page, making our time with them a bit problematic
- Unfortunately we were mislead into believing their training was OSHA standard

EHS Insight's intuitive innovation
It has been a real game changer for my plant. Documents are easily uploaded and easy to find. The phone app makes it even better so I can add incidents and audits directly from my phone.

- It is great for completing audits and recordkeeping for safety training
- There are a lot of options and easily customizable for my plant's needs
SDS database is a little cumbersome, but improvements are happening often and there are always updates that are occurring

The cost of BLR was not great for the value. EHS Insight had more of what I needed, and I like the format much better.

EHS Insight is right for you if you are willing to learn and practice
Personal configuration skills have been upgraded as administrator, as I look back at the beginning of the implementation of the system (in 2022). Understanding the IT-structure in my own way and have the knowledge and experience in what way any change/customization can impact our data and daily work.
- EHS Insight is flexible in customizations
- The support team responds very swiftly and they also indicate when you change something, what the impacts will be
- EHS Insight does not support all configurations when prioritized customizations are needed in a very short time
- The system does not allow to add new modules (which is understandable) and limits us to add new matrixes out of the box (3 by 4)

Overall very pleased with EHS Insight. Our ISO 9000 and 14000 auditors listed it as a strength in our organization.
- Our company utilized EHS Insight for 3+ years
- In that time we were able to increase the EHS focus by allowing our employees to immediately report all safety and environmental incidents
- They are tracked and automatically sent to the concerned party for action
- Response and accountability increased 66%
- Another option we took advantage of was to create audit check sheets
- Audit compliance increased as they could use the phone app to conduct the audit in real time
- The number of notifications that our management received was high for each incident reported
- This took some time to understand how to limit the notifications for each step of the process

Review of EHS Insight
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with EHS Insight and how they have their business model working for the customer.
- The software is very intuitive for all users
- The customer support is beyond great, you get a confirmation email of your submitted request within a couple hours and normally I have a customer support representative reaching out with in 48 hours asking for more information so they can support my needs
- Being able to manipulate forms, reports and setting up my dashboard to fit my needs is extremely helpful
- The SDS module is built very well, with the one exception, when using the anonymous QR code it does not have a search feature you must scroll through all SDS's alphabetically
- The Leadership and upper management are very accessible, I have been able to voice my opinion with them and there was not a sense of dismissiveness that you can get from other platforms
- As will all EHS platforms there are certain issues, the couple of requests that I have to ask is this
- 1) create a PSM/RMP module or offer individual items that could be built into a PSM/RMP program; 2) bring in micro learning videos, 30 & 40minute videos on basic safety processes are antiquated; 3) there is a real need for operational type training videos, videos that offer basic and advanced training on types of, operations, and mechanics of pump, basic chemical reactionary properties and other operational processes; 4) create a ala-cart style product line that allows for creation of individual reports that will not break the bank; 5) The SDS module is built very well, with the one exception, when using the anonymous QR code it does not have a search feature you must scroll through all SDS's alphabetically

2nd time with EHS Insight
My overall experience has been excellent, and I have launched this product successfully with two different organizations withgreat buy-in from our user population.
I like that EHS Insight provides the administrator(s) the ability to manage the list data, and you don't have to constantly go back to the vendor to add items to various fields
- To be honest, I don't have any cons at this time

EHS Insight is great!
Excellent. They are always willing to help, work through configuration issues and explain how to maximize the usage of their application.
- The onboarding support was excellent
- The EHS Insight team does a good job of helping customers to maximize the usage of the application and the individual configuration of the system
A couple of items within specific applications could not be configured to our exact specification, however workability suggestions were received from the EHS Insight team
