Fathom for the win
I love it! I think it is a must have tool for all companies to be using. This is because if all companies were using it, it would be great to get emails of summary from them too
- Fathom really does help me with note taking, sends the summary of the meeting afterwards, very helpful to catch up
- Also the video recordings are so useful to playback and smooth with the transcripts
- When it sends an email to the attendee, I cannot see what got sent to them
- apart from that, it is very very useful

A must Have for visio
I use it on almost every meeting with my clients, I save time on reports, which are automatically forwarded to my customers. Most of the time, the summary, priorities and tasks are extremely well chosen. I watch my speaking time so I can talk less.

- You can even see your speaking time live, which reminds you to let others do the talking
- Summaries are precise and well contextualized, starting with a highly relevant objective and summary of the meeting if you don't want to read the whole thing
- It's synchronized with hubspot, automatically saving meeting notes and creating tasks
- Areas for improvement: the tasks are in English, even though I'm a French speaker, and the summaries are in French
- The “your questions” section isn't very relevant, with sentences that don't always correspond to what was said, and question assignments that aren't always correct

A Game-Changer for Meetings
Fathom has become one of my favorite productivity tools. It’s reliable, accurate, and takes a lot of pressure off during client and team meetings. I no longer worry about missing details — everything is neatly transcribed and summarized. It’s a must-have for anyone who manages multiple projects or meetings in a day.

- Occasionally, there’s a slight delay in syncing the recordings, especially right after a long meeting
- Also, I wish there were more options to customize the summary format or highlight key takeaways automatically
- But these are minor things compared to how well the core features wor

Lost Two Years of Client Data Due to Fathom's Poor Customer Service
I would strongly advise anyone, particularly startups and solopreneurs, to avoid using Fathom at the risk of losing your intellectual property. I used Fathom for two years and was happy with the services. When I first signed up for an account I used an email address related to a business development organization that I belonged to. Fast forward two years, and I decide to leave the business development network and attempt to change the email associated with my Fathom account. Fathom makes it incredibly difficult to do this. You can't just go into your account settings and change your email, but you need to send a form requesting their assistance. Finding this form was itself a challenge, and only possible after I sent a Help request to them. I made the change request several weeks prior to when the account transfer was needed and I got zero response. I followed up twice including a specific drop dead date by which I needed the change made or I was going to lose access. Still nothing. Three weeks later and after a third attempt to resolve the problem they get back to me. Only at this point do they inform me that their policy prohibits them from making the account transfer without proof of ownership of the old account; however that ship had sailed and I was no longer in a position to do so. Had they responded when I initially made the account transfer request, this would not have been a problem. When I explained the situation and pointed out that their slow response prohibited me from complying with their policy, they basically told me that I would have to accept losing TWO YEARS of client data. All because their own customer service was unable to respond to my account change request. This has caused significant damage to my company, as I no longer have access to transcripts and files for several long-term client relationships. Fathom is taking zero accountability. I feel like they have illegally expropriated my business secrets, but regardless I'm left stuck with no resolution in sight. There are plenty of competitors out there where this would not be a concern. Don't take a chance at losing all of your data due to Fathom's incompetence.

Overall, I enjoy the sharp accuracy, post session outlined notes, font type, Fathom AI where you can ask question and the AI bot tailors the answer based on the content and it was able to articulate in a readable but detailed style
Call Quality and Feature: Very accurate in capturing relevant information and easy to follow—great communication

Quick, clean, accurate financial statements and reports
Fathom saves us hundreds (yes, hundreds) of hours per month in labor since we can build a template and copy it between entities. That meant we could create a financial statement format and duplicate it over and over and over as needed to generate reports.Clients also appreciate the clean aesthetic and reliable KPIs - our reporting, while customized, stands out from those firms dumping things right out of QuickBooks or building and re-building them in Excel.
- Syncs to QuickBooks instantly, updates regularly, and allows for unlimited groups to be created for the consolidation of financials between multiple companies
- Also, most reports can be exported into Excel if you need to do a little finessing
The consolidated charts & graphs module is still in need of a few more granular features

Custom Reporting and Helpful Integrations
I have used Fathom for business consulting with a variety of different clients. I've used several of report features, the integrations with other software platforms and sites, and overall had a very positive experience.
I love the reporting capabilities and how you can just build out a template to reuse over and over again over whatever period you choose
The time it takes to refresh from pulling from external sources could be a bit faster in order to work more efficiently and get reports out quicker

- I love that each one of my attendees always receive a copy emailed to them personally based off of what they logged in as
- A few minor glitches like getting a name wrong or having to adjust a note after a meeting because it wasn't as exact as I wanted

Best AI notetaker I've found
Fathom is simple, effective, and doesn’t lock core features behind a paywall. It does exactly what it promises, with fast support and an easy setup.
- Fathom is simple in its use and doesn't hide a lot of its features behind a paywall
- They provide more than the other AI notetakers and it was lot easier to set up than the others as well
- Whenever I've had a question, their support responds in hours, sometimes minutes, not in days
- Couldn't ask for much more than that
- One thing I wish Fathom did was give the ability to upload audio files to be transcribed
- Sometimes getting on a call isn't feasible so having the ability to upload a conversation would save a lot of time in the future

More than a note taker
Simple, easy, not overbearing. Doesn't try to be more than it's set out to be. AI functions work well.

- Once established and linked to my zoom and outlook calendar, even unscheduled meetings are easy to automatically record

Fathom is next level!
It's been wonderful. Everyone on my team is now using it as well as a number of other people that I have recommended it to.
- I love the great notes it creates at the end I was using a different note taking app but Fathom is so much better
- I love the real time monologue and percentage of talk time that pops up while you are in the meeting
- So far it's really been great
- I wanted to actually record an in person meeting the other day and couldn't figure out how to do it so I opened zoom so I could have the notes afterwards
- You might be able to open it for in person meetings but I haven't figure out how yet
- (I only took about 20 seconds to try so I'll check more in depth and see if I am able)

Fast and Efficient!
It has been absolutely fantastic. It was the easiest to implement of all of the AI recording tools and also seems to be the most functional

Fantastic Fathom
Excellent, I was pleasantly surprised with what it could do, how will it did it, and I found the onboarding experience quite good.
- The recap email that is sent after a meeting
- It's ability to decipher key points from the meeting and tap right into those moments is wonderful
- I also love that at meeting time it reminds or autostarts the meeting
- The auto send to all participants needs to made very clear to customers before they start using the software
- Sometimes having the little reminder that is in the corner is distracting but not being able to find is equally annoying so not sure if that's helpful

Entreflow Consulting Group's use of Fathom
Given that our CEO, Helina Patience used to be a financial analyst, it’s probably not a surprise to many of you that this is one of her favorite apps to use at Entreflow. So I absolutely love this app and it's one of those apps that I can safely say is suitable for absolutely every business and business owner. It has a super easy ratio and profitability analysis. For those of you who are a little bit rusty in your ratios, it explains what those are and also has the definitions for your clients too
- Our favourite feature is the sensitivity analysis
- Within the app you can do “what if” analyses to see “If we grow our sales by this much, what does that mean to our net income
- ”, “If we change our mix by this much, what does that mean for our net income
- ” and there's a whole bunch of different things you can look at, but it's literally toggling a little bar around and it gives you a really clear indicator of how you would do
- And then within the app itself, if you're sitting there with a client using the app you can actually see animation occur to show you a bigger picture of what's going on
- You can also click on certain aspects to drill down and get more information which is just amazing given the amount of work that used to go into doing this in Excel
- We would love to be able to bring in non-financial data, and data from other sources like Google Analytics, your CRM information, your ERP, your Facebook analytics
- Native connections brought there, or at least be able to connect data to a Google sheet so that on the non-financial KPI (key performance indicators) side of things, you can pull that data in super easily and get a bigger picture without having to manually enter anything in
