Easy to use
The staff are all really helpful, the system is reliable and it’s really easy to use.
- ease of use, online booking features and accessibility
Most of the time the response on email for urgent issues is quick but it is annoying not having a support line to ring
Switched From
Reliability, having a system cloud based and easy to access remotely and cost

Great booking system that grows with you
Overall I think Fresha is great, at the beginning especially. Great prices when you’re paying, a lot of extra functions, and best thing is that it is giving you customers (unlike some booking systems).
- Best thing was that it was basic and free when I was starting
- Not many options but for not experienced person that was a good thing and I think it’s still free for one person business (at least it was)
- When my business was growing I needed more options but they were either paid or not really as good as separate systems
- But saying that it wasn’t expensive and it was working quite well

Treatwell is not compatible with other booking systems and it was causing a lot of time consuming problems like double booking and calling customers
Why they chose it
"They don’t give me customers (maybe they are not popular enough)"

Appointments, scheduling and notes | An all-in-one no-brainer app
Verified reviewer
- First of all: FREE
- Second: Complete
- Third: take notes, upload pictures which is great for before/after pictures or medical exams, prescriptions, etc
- Fourth: Patient notifications by e-mail and SMS
- is that enough
- I'd love to be able to edit the SMS reminder
- I love the fact it has Portuguese as a language, since I'm based in Portugal
- HOWEVER, the fact that it uses Portuguese from Brazil (as if that's even legit) is annoying
- Words like "gerenciamento" and "oi" on a reminder for a health appointment in Portugal shouldn't exist if you want to look professional :(

Dissapointed long term foundational member
Dissapointing. Unfair and unsolicited charges. Missleading and deceptive conduct. Not to be trusted. Have contacted my clients in Australia asking for tips, random charges processed that did not exist, promised free forever accounts for initial features such as calander bookings and unlimited reminder texts, to foundational early members 8 to 10 years ago that they are not honouring.
Easy to use format for basic use, but no longer available so now nothing to like, and currently moving over to square appointments much fairer plans etc
- The companies deceptive and missleading business practices, and agressively rude communication style
- no longer includes any basic plan available for sole traders just wanting basic features

Fresha review
Good software and easy to use. The value of the software doesn’t match the price point. Good reporting system as well.
- Easy to set up with a simple interface
- Scheduling notifications options are customizable, and good customer service
Coat of service is a lot higher than other salon softwares, would like more options for customizing services
Why they chose it
"Good reviews and promotional options when I signed up"

Terrible customer service, lots of hidden fees.
Horrible, do not use them. They over charge for everything. I was given a processing rate but then they ended up charging me 0.5% more than what was supposed to be. I ended up paying double if not triple what I was paying with my old processing machine. They also like to charge for 20% on new clients that they didn't refer. When asked to be removed off of their "marketing" site, your clients cannot book appointment online anymore so you are stuck with occasionally paying for 20% of "new client" fees even if that client cancell their appointment. They are so greedy they like to charge for services that they didn't provide. Also had a staff no longer working and I was charged for her because she used to be a bookable staff. Overall, shady and greedy business.
- User friendly, lots of features for booking services
- Lots of hidden fees
- Over charges, shady sale reps
- Terrible customer service

Fresha's 'new client fee' policy feels unfair.
While the fee is supposed to apply to first-time clients who find my services via the Fresha website, I'm being charged for customers who scan my in-store QR code to book. I've repeatedly inquired, as these are my existing clients or ones I've attracted independently, yet Fresha treats them as new clients sourced by them. Essentially, I feel I'm helping Fresha acquire new users rather than benefiting from their platform as intended.
- They try to cooperate with their clients, and remain positive
- Their application is easy to navigate
- I feel their policy regarding 'new client fees' is unfair
- Fresha outline that a charge will be incurred for first time clients, who found my services via their website
- I have inquried about this to Fresha several times, as I use their QR code at my store to allow my clients to book an appointment, however, I still get charged for those customers, as if they intially found my services through Fresha, though this is not the case
- It seems I am aiding Fresha with gaining new customers, rather than myself receiving this benefit

Good but pricy if you want everything
I used Fresha for a lot of years and it was really good and grew fast but after a while more and more things became an extra charge and not with the monthly charge I’ve decided to leave
- Initially I liked the test reminders and the simple use of the calendar
- Keeping track of stock, bills and discounts given
- The charges and continually lowering of the amount of text available
- More things I previously had became chargeable

Fresha review
It was really good, really easy to book clients in and navigate. The app was really easy to use aswell
How easy it is to book my clients in and how easy it was to create your own products/menu of services
I didn’t like how they said they wouldn’t charge but are now charging for Fresha but I understand why

Effortless appointment booking
Verified reviewer
- Fresha is very user friendly even for beginners
- It is easy to schedule appointment
- You can also be rest assured that you will not miss your appointments because it would notify you should your appointment be coming
- The customer service is also very responsive
- One can find it difficult to navigate when you want to try to book an appointment
- Also, the reporting aspect of the fresha is very hard to navigate
