The best and most budget friendly software
I’ve been with loss for four years now and I tried to leave and I came right back because I missed your service
- Everything about gloss is top notch I wouldn’t change it
I just wish I could check multiple technicians with one transaction and one client

I love how easy it is
I love it. It helps me keep everything organized and together in one place. I love that I can set goals, keep up with product and inventory, easily change things, communicate with clients, and the analytics and reports are life savers
- That it’s so user friendly and affordable
- All payments and processing are convenient and secure
- Other than last fall I’ve had no bugs, issues, or crashes
- Scheduling is a breeze and online booking is very simple for clients to navigate
- That I can’t create add on’s without adding time to services
- At least not easily
- IE if I want to charge for extra length I have to manually add it during checkout as opposed to adding it under services

STay away from gloss it will ruin your business
Horrible and unfortunate. Do not expect customer support to help you with any major issues that affect your business.

- Appointments vanish, Text reminders don’t send, credit card reader doesn't work and when I call company they tell me my issues will be issued a ticket and someone will get back to be in a day or two
- Well I never heard back
- This happen 4 times
- 4 different issues
- How do you conduct business if booking app is not working properly
- They also over charged me twice

There are better options for your business
My overall experience with GlossGenius is that for a lower-cost system, it's okay. They are continuously raising the prices and making different tiers, which is normal, but they are trying to add too much too quickly. The system cannot keep up with it. They do not follow up with their members to see what they like and what they don't like. The lower cost was no longer worth the headache that GlossGenius created for my business.
- What I liked most about GlossGenius is that when I first started using it, it was really aesthetically pleasing
- It was one of the lower-cost options, and at that point it was important to me that it was extremely affordable
- What I didn't like about GlossGenius is that the system was always "down"
- There were a lot of times that I couldn’t get in to see what clients I had for the day, or I couldn’t find their color formula because I couldn’t even log into the system
- Every time they make an update, it seems to throw everything off
- They were constantly changing the aesthetics of it

Gloss review
Overall my experience with gloss is very positive, very easy to use and client reminders are very helpful.
- Very user friendly, easy to schedule appointments, and very affordable
- Free website where clients can schedule and manage their own appointments
The website and app on rare occasions has crashed and clients aren’t able to book appointments and I am unable to take payments

2 + years and still going!
I've had a very good experience with them thus far (2 years) and can't really find anything else to comment on! Always quick to fix hiccups & communicative.
- Gloss Genius is the easiest software for beauty professional to use in my opinion
- No spending weeks trying to smooth everything out, they make the transfer process beyond easy, though mine did take longer that my coworkers, it probably would have taken me 1000x times longer
- Clients love that they don't need another password to remember and the reminder texts and emails aren't too much
- Just enough reminders
- I pay for the Gold service and have really enjoyed the mass text and email option - but don't like that you have to pay for more than 500 texts per month as they transferred all my clients from over ten years and it's a very long process to try and pick out the regulars or pay a big chunk to just send all
- Appointment management and online booking and changes are easy on both mine and clients ends
- There have been slight bug issues over the past few years but they are always beyond quick to get them fixed ASAP
- I do not sell product so cannot comment on inventory personally, but i'm sure it's just as smooth as the rest
- My biggest complaint is really more so a bank issue than gloss genius but when the holidays align on Mondays or Tuesdays you won't get a pay out for 4-5 days straight so you have to pay the
- 10% fee which can be a lot of money if you have a big chunk sitting and need to pay bills

Satisfied & Thriving
I have been able to build clientele by using GlossGenius compared to old school paper/pencil. I’m most definitely satisfied with my experience. They continue to enhance and improve.
- I appreciate the ease of booking appointments in person and online
- The value compared to monthly cost, is an added bonus
- I also appreciate the sense of security involved with the program and with support
One thing that is time consuming, is not being able to check out multiple clients at the same time, especially when you have family members together

Best booking site
Im very satisfied with GlossGenius I haven’t experienced any issues. I love my wait list options and how easy it is for clients to add themselves to the waitlist
The simplicity for my business and my clients love how easy it is to book a service and not being over complicated and how convenient it is to fill out consent forms
I wish it allowed us to set up different times for working days have to manually do it for each day

If you are a spa, gotta consider Gloss Genius!
Love that clients can schedule themselves, fill out forms easily, HIPPA compliant. Easy to see what staff has scheduled. Easy to set up permissions for employees, too!

Got what I need with Gloss
Overall gloss has been good to me.I would love to see memberships added.pls dont increase your price
- I love and appreciate the price point most of all
- Being a solopreneur has not been easy financially
The inability to invoice clients, and to use the suggested workaround was what I liked the least honestly
