Gym Assistant has helped our small fitness center compete with larger fitness centers
We have been so happy with the Gym Assistant that we have never shopped around for another software product for our fitness center.
- Technical support is great
- Adding new customers is quick
- We are a small fitness center with less than 250 active members
- We can compete with other fitness centers because GA allows for 24/7 accessibility
- If it could be accessed remotely from my phone, I haven't found that feature yet
- That is mainly because we are open 24 hours a day and sometimes members have not paid their monthly dues and can't get in until the next working day

Excellent software, excellent support team, and excellent design team that is continually making improvements.
- Affordable
- Provides what I need without the overkill of a bunch of bells and whistles that I will not use
- Simple to use, provides all the services I need and expect from a gym Managment software
- That it's not an online line software that I can log into from any computer

Total Gym Software
Overall we are thrilled with this software and what it does for our gym. It saves me so much time on billing and collections as well as helps me retain members. I have cut our losses due to non-payment to 1/4 of what it used to be by the integrated billing alone. Pro shop allows me to keep inventory and see sales of products daily. I can see our monthly signups and collections as well as revenue projections. Id recommend this software for anyone looking to open a gym or looking to get away from all the monthly fees some software charge to use and give yourself all the control.
- I like that this software gives you everything in one package
- The best features are as follows: Checkin/Door Monitoring system, Easy member signup, Billing Integration, Pro Shop and Dailey Sales, All the documents it allows you to print with ease, e-signature capability, the texting and email functions
- This software saves me time in the billing process and allows me to easily reach more past due members and retain them
- Also there are no monthly fees you buy the product and its yours
- Some of the Contracts we use are not easily transferred to the documents files used
- This doesn't allow us to use some of the prefilled-out things that could help make us more paperless

Great overall experience with Gym Assistant, its a great software and there is always great customer service when needed. It has all the features and buttons we need to operate our gym and keep our member base growing.
- This software is easy to use, and it's easy to get new employees trained on
- It has good features such as - notes, alerts, sms/txt messaging, reports, utilities, revenue projection, and much more
- in the new upgrade the "record a payment OR pay balance" option is unnecessary and if you select the pay balance option it is not shown under the "last paid amount" section
- Would love to see some development in a gym assistant APP
- was told that this was already in the works
- our business would definitely take advantage of a user app where members could check their due date, membership status, and check in history

We really like Gym Assistant
It’s been really great, honestly. My husband passed away and I’ve been running his gym since that time, May 27, 2023. I helped him once in a while behind the counter but I’ve learned a lot more about it over the last 18 months and I’ve really found it to be helpful. I know the rest of his team feels the same way. Thank you.
- I like how we get so much information on each person, the number of visits the last time they checked in, how long they’ve been a member, we have the option of entering how much they paid the last time because we have a lot of discounts and it really helps us know what discount the person had
- We can also see if they are a three month member or a month member or a six month member or a yearly member
- It’s just been very helpful
- Well, I need to learn more about how to create reports
- I love being able to see how many people came in during a day or a week or the past month or the past year, but I’d love to be able to print those out and have more understanding about how to use that feature
- I also would love to know how to determine how many current clients we have
- I can’t figure that out yet

Good, best IT help. The customer service has been amazing. Always deal with same gal and she is very helpful!

- For gun software there is a very limited amount of merchant choices and they are very expensive
