A good downgrade for us

Very good. I am happy we changed from Global shop solutions

What they liked
  • I like that it is simpler than our last ERP
  • Last year we downgraded our CRM from salesforce and saved so much time and money
  • This appears to be the same
  • We will save a lot because of the overhead managing a mid market ERP system
  • I is also so fast compared to our old system
  • Working in the browser in the cloud is great
  • We have been very happy with the QBO integration
Room for improvement
  • I wish there was a shipstation integration and an active campaign integration
  • I wish the zapier integration included customer record transfer
  • I wish the woocommerce integration was a little deeper
  • Primarily I wish the description synced
  • We may use a third party PIM database
Switched From

GSS was too big for us. We are a smaller company and needed something that was simpler with less overhead.

Why they chose it

"Cost and functionality were the primary drivers"

inFlow Inventory - Worth the Effort

Overall we have really come to rely on inFlow Inventory. The customer service we receive is some of the best we've ever encountered. The ongoing (free) training provided by their webinars cannot be beat, and I strongly encourage anyone struggling with the software to take the time to watch a few of those, they really are a game changer. Would we purchase this software again? Absolutely. I'm not sure we could run our business without it anymore. A word of advice though - set it up carefully. Yes, everything is changeable, but depending upon the complexity of your BOMs it can be a daunting experience.

What they liked
  • We use Inflow Inventory in our vehicle manufacturing business (we build one of a kind handmade specialized vehicles)
  • We've been able to set up BOMs, track inventory, handle parts sales, etc
  • , all with real time updates
Room for improvement
  • There are a few things Inflow could do better
  • Being able to really customize some of the screens would help (the options are there, but at times it's very flaky, might work, might not, roll the dice and take a chance)
  • It also does not automatically update costing on BOMs when you alter the cost of a raw part, so there is more touch time than really should be required
  • This might be a problem with QuickBooks more than Inflow, but the integration between the two is hopeless
  • Save your time, don't even bother trying

inFlow seemed to fit our needs better, and the customer service with inFlow has been/still is absolutely amazing.

Almost amazing, but still very solid

Very happy with the product, since we are in the food industry lot code tracking is a huge priority. The way we work around not having this feature built in is that we have lot based inventory. So instead of setting it up as 'Widget A', 'Widget B' and 'Widget C' it's setup so that there are 10 lot numbers associated with A, 15 with B, etc.

What they liked

Easy to use Accurate tracking Can setup multiple warehouse locations Customer service is top notch A lot of reports, can build customer reports if needed

Room for improvement

No built in lot code tracking - there are work arounds for this but they aren't perfect and have their own issues which wouldn't be an issue if there was built in lot code tracking

An inventory system for those that do not want to spend unnecessary time doing inventory

Amazing in every single way. A clear software that allows you to work from everywhere and keep an eye on inventory.

What they liked
  • Everything
  • this is a system that takes way all unnecessary embellishing things and is clear, and organized and to the point
Room for improvement
  • the only thing I would like to see is that it syncs to my crm
  • but to be honest, i have learned how to work around that
Switched From

It was way too expensive and too complicate for no reason.

Why they chose it

"after a careful consideration of all other softwares, we believed that Inflow was the best option and we were not wrong. I has been super smooth since we implemented it and we love it."

The Juice is Worth the Squeeze

As my company grew, the previous IMS we were using was clearly not fitting our needs and I began a 3 month search of mid to high level IMS platforms. I think I demoed almost ten platforms. They all had their strengths and weaknesses. inFlow provided a robust and scalable platform that suited my needs and covered those for further company expansion.

What they liked
  • Hands down, my favorite part of inFlow has been the customer service from their team
  • From onboarding all the way to small questions later down the road, they have been nothing short of exemplary
  • My business has a fairly complex special case use for inventory management and they helped me find creative solutions
Room for improvement
  • To be fair, this is a typical issue when it comes to any third party integrations or API, but the crosstalk between inFlow and QBO could be better
  • The linking to charts of accounts, etc could be improved
Switched From

As my company expanded, needs changed for our inventory management and tracking. Current RMS was not fitting our needs and inFlow became our choice going forward.

Why they chose it

"Features, scalability, ease of integration vs cost"

Inflow Review

Inflow offers a solid and reliable inventory management solution with a good balance of features and ease of use. For my small business it works incredibly well. I will recommend this program to any of my friends who are looking for a switch or are setting up new companies.

What they liked
  • I found the program to be user friendly
  • I have multiple ways of tracking my inventory
  • I like that it is cloud based and I am not stuck to one computer to use the program
  • And the customer support has been quick to assist me when I have had questions
Room for improvement
  • I did not like that the one feature I do not have access to has an additional charge
  • I want to be able to search based on serial number but I do not want additional charges to my account
Switched From

I switched from Quickbooks to Inflow as i found quick books to be very limiting in its functionality. It was getting increasingly harder to get the system to work in the manner I wanted/ needed it to work.

Why they chose it

"The customer service received during the free trial made it an easy decision."

inFlow Review

I had an easy time setting it up. It took a long time because we have so many parts but in the end was so worth it! I've been using it for about 2.5 months and have not had any problems.

What they liked
  • I really like that it is all in one
  • I dont need different programs to keep track of inventory, customers, and invoices
Room for improvement
  • I wish I could click on a part in a sales order and bring up info about the part
  • If I want to look at a parts info I have to look it up separately
Switched From

Limble couldn't do what we need it to. It also is for maintenance more then inventory.

Why they chose it

"Better suited our needs. It was also a way better price."

InFlow makes my life easier!

Super smooth, and very amazing for counting inventory!

What they liked
  • Easy to use
  • Keeps everything organized
  • And you can customize it further if needed
  • We use sublocation as a place to name batches, and it's very useful
Room for improvement
  • It cannot use a product to create another product in the work orders
  • We normally have to use the same product to create more of this by creating a sort of circular reference, but this is not allowed
Switched From

Excel too time consuming and have to put in formulas
