One Step GPS is Awesome!
One Step GPS has been the perfect solution for our household. It allows us to keep tabs on where our vehicles are and where they have traveled. And the price is much more affordable than other GPS/fleet products.

RV rental business using two different types of trackers
I've had a good enough experience that I decided to purchase the unit so I'm able to shut them off during our slowest of our seasonal. I feel like the customer support is definitely there and you just need to ask the questions. They are also willing to do some customization for you and can link you to CVS sheets and formats. This business also works with the CDL edl needs.
- I really like that in the advanced portal you can do things like add up the total mileage from all year very simply by selecting the date ranges
- You can only do 3 months at a time but it's easy enough to just do that as quarters
- I really like that you can select legs of a trip and see what their average and high est throttle was used
- I like that they have multiple different options
- We use the rugged model for the travel trailers and OBD for my towing truck and motorhome
- I'm able to see what my battery percentage is, my fuel percentage, odometer how long it's been idle if it's running all sorts of good information
- I did bring this up recently to my account manager I really feel strongly that we should be able to turn on and off devices through our own portal
- I can understand if it is for one month or one week even but if I have it turned off and then a rental comes up I want to be able to turn it on over the weekend
- This is a major downside that I have not experienced with other trackers
- They are a facet responding to email and you can call them and easily get a hold of somebody but it's during business hours Monday through Friday
Switched From
I wanted to have better battery life, and be able to wire it into the 12 volt system so I wouldn't have to charge it every so often with a cable. I also wanted it to be a more permanent style or hidden setup that I wouldn't need to plug in of course similar to what I listed above. There was also no OBD option

One Step GPS Review
This GPS platform is one of the most cost effective solutions I have ever worked with and the best in comparison to others that are double the price. This system is my go to GPS Tracking System.
- One Step GPS has the easiest history search in the reporting system that allows you to bring up reports and data that you need for on or many vehicles in your fleet by key points you are seeking out which makes the system so advanced especially for anyone that has a fleet of 4 or more vehicle this makes it easy to manage track and keep an close eye
- The setup and maintenance of this software and equipment is super easy to set up in any vehicle you need to and even change out into other vehicles as needed
- The software allows you to custom name each device and or vehicle in the platform which makes it easier to identify each tracking unit
- The app and web version of the software allows you to monitor from your desk or on the go which no restrictions to either version
- Customer service is not the fastest or the best to respond but when they do the issue is resolved
- The speed of the support needs improvement but overall it has good support

True to their word.
Once we discovered One Step GPS, we ended our subscription with all other fleet service programs. I can not say anything bad about One Step GPS, they live up to their name.
- After having used a number of different GPS products over the years, we discovered one step GPS and discovered a solution which is easy to use, simple to install and easy to purchase
- At first the price made me suspicious, but having used the One Step GPS product for a number of years they have consistently delivered
- the only thing I can say is I wished I discovered them sooner
- Aside from that everything works as expected, and installs easily

The platform became unreliable after being sold, and devices could not be re-enabled once they went off contract.

Great value and easy to use despite minor UI issues
Overall, great value for the price. Support is top tier, you get a real person who is quick and responsive instantly, every time. Despite some minor issues with the user interface, it is still an easy enough tool to use and provides us with tremendous value.
- Cost effective, ease of use, and support - they are always available and can help with any unique issue or request you come up with
- Super easy to swap devices between units, order/deactivate them as the fleet grows/shrinks
- Reporting is effective and easy enough to use
- The interface can be a little laggy/buggy sometimes - often fixed by reloading the page, but sometimes icons won't display on the correct spot on the map, video stream previews are inaccurate
- Not the biggest deal and does not make it unusable
- The issues are a little worse on the mobile app

One step gps is Great!
My overall experience is great I’ve had no problems with the app or the trackers they’ve always had real time information the customer service is great
- I like that it’s very easy to learn how to operate the app and install the product in your vehicle, I love what the app comes with from knowing the mileage the real time location of your vehicle the engine scanning to see if there’s a problem with the vehicle if someone is speeding, the security of knowing you can disable the starter and all the value you get for such a small price, I get an email of someone checking in on me from one step gps all the time to see if I’m having any problems so they are very in tune with their customers I never have any issues with this product and I’m sure if I did the customer service would be right on it
- I’ve had them for about a year and never had any bugs or issues I’ve had to report, I’m very satisfied with this product
There’s really nothing I don’t like about one step gps they take care of everything I need and I’m happy with it

Where's Waldo? One Step Can Tell You
I have been really pleased with how well it works and how it helps keep track of our fleet of vehicles.
- One Step GPS allows our company to keep track of where our technicians are in a glance
- It allows us to provide more reliable updates on arrival times to our customers
- Depending on the vehicle they kind of stick out where the the technician bumps into them, knocking them

Great product at a great price, a few issues with the trackers
We love it. Our team loves it. It's simple to use. Most of the time, we don't have to worry about it.
