Great for Businesses of All Sizes
Xero is very easy to use and adaptable for all types of businesses. It provides quick access to favorites and allows dashboards to be customised for each user. Overall, I’m very happy with the system.
- Xero is easy to use and has an intuitive interface, which made navigating the platform straightforward
- I also appreciated the accessibility, being able to access financial information from anywhere, and the automated reminders, which helped keep tasks like invoicing and payments on track
- Some advanced features take a bit of time to learn, and certain integrations may have extra costs
- Overall, these are minor trade-offs given how efficient the platform is

Xero for Invoicing and reporting
Overall I like the flexibility of the invoicing and reporting within Xero. We do not use the online payment option, yet. I would highly recommend.
- The process for entering invoices and tracking what we are billing is very easy
- I can easily pull reporting (balance reports, invoices, profit and loss, etc)
- This software is a great value for the money
- I have not experienced any bugs or issues
- The reason I originally did not use Xero was because our bank does not connect with Xero
- Our accountant manually adds the data from the bank
- This is on my bank though, not Xero

The new account used Xero and not quickbooks. It didn't take me long to adjust.

Brilliant for small businesses - keeping everything in check
It connects to your business bank accounts and for those that don't offer that service, importing CSX transactions is great. On the one occasion there was a connection issue it was resolved with them quickly.
It's easy to create a new invoice and send to existing customers, especially when line items are discounted - it shows those explicitly on the invoice
- How VAT is not automatically added, it's easy to make a mistake and leave it off a single line item, which results in having to make a correct post sending
- There should be a global setting, that's easy to find, to enable VAT on all invoices in the UK

Overall a good choice
Overall good I would use again simply because now I know the software and it is used in lots of businesses
- I liked the help provided and the features The reporting is good as long as you are taught properly now to use it
- Integration with apps and xero me was good
- The randomly changing dashboard gave me issues for a while
- Not as user friendly as it could be and not easy to self navigate

Makes accounting fun
Overall Xero get a big thumbs up from us, it would take a lot to convince us to change software. Very easy to follow and makes accounting mire fun.
- With accounting going digital, Xero is affordable and user friendly, allows multiple usersvwith various levels of access
- Oir accountant is a verified user so we get top notch customer support through them
- Endless features allow each individual to approach reporting and reconciliation in whichever way suits them but all lead to the same resaults
- The Dashboard can also be customized to suit which information is important to you and allows to you see the important information at a glance
- There isnt really anything to dislike, If you don't understans how to report and record your income and expenses i imagine it could be a little daunting
- But with initial guidance, it all comes clear very quickly

Try other offerings first
Not sure which demographic will be lazy enough to not do books the old way, but also not tech savvy enough to make a small stack solution, which would be more seamless than this. 21 days no credit card payments and bank has no answers, we even did a test with the banks credit card payment system so we switched Support keeps them self 3 arms lengths away and takes long to respond
The color of the logo is pleasing, the font on the website is very readable, design schemes show that this company paid visual design artist
- Value for money is not there there are free apps, that anyone who is organized at a 4 on a scale of 1-10 can use
- The app is lacking, the 2fa app also even more lacking( read about this in other reviews) Worse offering for taking credit card payments

- Xero is such a great accounting software for small businesses
- It is extremely cheap as well as being fast and easy to set up
- It is really made for non-financial people, so the whole thing is really user friendly
- They also have a great online help forum with articles covering how to do most things
It is not great for multi-company businesses as you cannot be logged into more than 1 at once, you have to chop and change between them and to make intercompany transactions, you need to post separately in both entities

Great, I think the product is powerful and easy to use accounting software, good for bookkeepers and accountants.
- Easy to use, fresh and dynamic cloud based platform with online support
- Data and app integration with other platforms via API is easy
The supplier sections and Pay Bills is not as clean as MYOB, however there is room for improvement from developers

Great for small business
Overall great experience. The reports are easy to pull and are set up in a way that is easy to read.
- The software is very easy to use
- The product is also a great value for money
- It’s a great product for small business and people who are not well versed in accounting
- The customer support isn’t great

- You can’t call someone to speak to if you have a problem

Xero Review for a Non-Profit
Xero is highly recommended for any non-profit or membership-based club that prioritizes user-friendliness and fast bank reconciliation.
- Easy to use for our volunteer-run car club
- The two best features for us are: Unlimited Users: This is absolutely essential
- We can grant access to the committee without having to share credentials or worry about security
- Bank Reconciliation: The automated bank feeds and reconciliation process makes matching hundreds of annual membership renewals easy
- The biggest drawback for a volunteer-run club is the customer support structure
- Xero does not offer a dedicated phone support line
